Purchased a Geum and when it arrived it didn’t look very healthy Planted it straight away, it died a couple of days later

I have used Farmer Gracy a good few times in the last two years and have mixed opinions. Late last year I ordered a range of spring bulbs specifically pink, purple and white hyacinths, once they were planted and bloomed I was disappointed to find all of my hyacinths were white with an exception of only one purple hyacinth. I also ordered a range of tulips, most of which were nothing like they were described or pictured. However, I had also ordered a range of narcissus and crocus which were fine. This year I placed an order of perennials, most of which arrived and seem to be blooming fine apart from my echinaceas and geraniums. I originally ordered two echinacea bare roots, one of the two failed miserably.. the roots arrived like mush and as you can imagine did nothing once planted on in a pot. I placed another order to replace my failed echinacea and this one arrived much the same, died off completely within a few weeks. My geraniums appear to be growing well, however, I ordered in the colour “breeders mix” for a range of colour all of which now appear to be blooming white only.. no pink, purple, or blue in sight which is very disappointing. I have spent a lot of money on plants at Farmer Gracy, I would expect better products for the price and am disappointed to have ran into the same issues repeatedly with plants being the wrong colour and arriving in poor condition.

Extremely excited and happy with my nine little T-Rex 😁. Can’t wait to see what they become in the future. All potted up and just starting to grow. Broke through the surface in just 3 days.

Toad lilies (tricyrtis)......growing well Hosta T re x .........growing well Hedychium auranticum.....had a bud on it that never developed and no sign of growth. Dranunculus......no sign of growth though Tuber is still firm. Mixed feelings but the 2 not growing have not rotted so still hope.

Dahlia tubers not looking very promising apart from a couple with a shoot each. Flamingo grass tiny and also doesn’t look very promising either. I’m a bit disappointed to be honest if I’m wrong and they all flourish I will revisit reviews again.

Bought 5 bare root lupins and only received 4 which is okay as it was on sale and quite cheap but if i had bought them full price i would of been a bit more disappointed hopefully they grow x

Begonias I borough are excellent , bare root echinacea. Are terrible only 5 out of 12 purchased have any top growth and some root other 7 plants are small sticks with no growth,

I would just like to thank their team for their pleasant and professional way they handled a complete and utter c**k up on my part with my latest order, which i got very wrong. Ordered 7th May 2026 still not received order. Sent an email to ask when is this order being delivered. No reply!! Not even received an email with an order number. Big order spent over £21. Definitely not impressed with this firm.

Hi Farmer Gracy - just to say how delighted I am with my bulbs from you particularly this one. I’m afraid I neglected them and planted them very late, in January but still they fabulous! Especially the Kiwi sunset daffs

I have bought bulbs for a few years from Farmer Gracy and they are always beautiful. My favourite this year must be the Tulip ' Bleu Amiable', they are the most stunning colour. I still have bare roots growing from last year and they are doing well. I would recommend Farmer Gracy to anyone and don't be afraid to splurge to get some of those really lovely rare colours in your garden!
