Hi, the plants delivered were perennials in the form of roots in their soil for planting in pots until the summer. While the packaging and the cards in the box were beautiful, there was no support for the bags with the roots. As a result the roots had separated from the soil in transit. I hope they have not been damaged. We will know in the summer

Hello, The plants are supplied as dormant bare roots and the soil in the bags is just there to help keep them fresh and protected in transit. It contains very little nutrients for potting so we advise to plant in fresh multipurpose compost on arrival or directly into borders. If you require any further assistance, please contact customercare@farmergracy.com. All the best, Farmer Gracy Customer Care

Delivery is always slow. Several types of bulbs I've planted from you have not grown well - and I'm a good gardener and have been for more than 20 years.

Hello, Please are shipped seasonally and not always straight away. Once the order is shipped (when the plants are ready) delivery takes 3-8 working days. If there is a delay in transit, please do contact customercare@farmergracy.com and we will be happy to handle that for you. If any plants do not grow, please contact us during the growing season, ideally including some photos, and we will be able to advise accurately on what needs to be done. Pls don't use Bartolini again as forwarder! The package kept bouncing between the logistic centre and the deliverer from Monday to Monday. It was very damaged (crashed as if some weight were put onto it) and one of the Aconitum bulbs was completely rotten. All bulbs that were packaged in plastic had already sprouts and some of them were damaged.

I have received the bare root plants I ordered. They are starting to show small signs of growth, but it is too early to say if they will thrive.

I really enjoy seeing the adverts and beautiful choice available. I do think paying so far in advance of receipt of plants is not acceptable. I waited several months and whilst I appreciate seasons matter, I have received mine too late for this year and feel if they had been sent last year when I paid, I may of had some growth this year. Now I will have to wait until 2024. You also do not receive and emails until ready to send order so for months I had no idea if my order would arrive.

Hello, We're sorry to hear that the delivery times do not suit you. We have a shipping schedule (link below) which helps to clarify the seasonal shipping times, and all bulbs and plants are sent at the correct time for planting. Summer bulbs/plants are available to order from December onwards, and are shipped between mid February and May for planting. https://www.farmergracy.co.uk/pages/shipping-delivery-schedule All the best, Farmer Gracy Customer Care

2 1/2 months since I placed order. Would have been good to have had some idea of when to expect goods at point of sale. I hope they do better than the 10 bare root plants purchased last year only one of which developed into a plant. I am just hoping they took a year to get themselves established and may appear this year.

I ordered both perennial plants and some bulbs. The delivery was as told. The perennials have all travelled well and are all showing signs of good growth. Because of the bitterly cold British weather I have planted them in pots and storing them in a cold greenhouse until the weather picks up a bit. At the moment the Begonia bulbs are dormant, similarly the Dahlia tubers are at the same stage so it’s a case of wait and see. I have opened the packet tops and they are being stored in our dining room. I have ordered from Farmer Gracy previously and have been perfectly satisfied so I have scored it lower until I can be sure of the results.

The plants look fine however the box was crushed and split down one side and it was a miracle that the plants had not fallen out the box, I have pictures of it .I know the state of it is down to the company used for delivery but maybe the boxes need to be stronger.

Hello, Colocasia 'Pharaoh's Mask' is a brand new variety and haven't matured to large bulbs yet, they are small but very special. Put hyacinth bulbs in the house but have grown partially but then died
Helpful Report

Hello, We're sorry to hear that the Hyacinths didn't work out. Our Hyacinth bulbs are for outdoor use and won't flower properly if they are grown indoors without 12 weeks of cold temperatures first. You can however plant the bulbs outside now and they should grow back and flower in the garden next year. All the best, Farmer Gracy Customer Care

The plants were delivered at the time stated and were well packed. I was kept informed about the progress of my order throughout the process. The tubers look healthy but it is too soon to make a judgment on their performance hence the "Acceptable" rating. When the plants are in bloom this may change to "Very Good".

Hard to predict. Bulbs really good. Dahlias small. Agapanthus small and unhealthy. Hard to predict quality as when good very good, but when bad a disappointment.

My agapanthus North Star is showing no sign of life. The hermodactylus only three have grown. Iris Germanic a black tie affair only one has grown. I don’t know when the eremurus and erythronium should begin to grow but there is no sign of them at all
