I bought some scadoxus bulbs, recieved them about March. I planted them in pots and I,m still waiting for any sign of life from them ???.

Hello, Scaoxus usually remain dormant until around July. If the bulb is firm, in a warm position and planted with the top exposed, it will sprout when it is ready. If it has turned soft, please let us know. All the best, Farmer Gracy Customer Care

Very disappointed with anemones and fritillaria meleagris, tulips flowered well, alliums ok. Mistral and Galilee anemones were the reason I ordered bulbs with Farmer Gracy, I added other items just to justify expensive shipping to myself, but they were such a disapointment - Mistral Bordeaux, Vinato, Rarity and Galilee Pastel flowered with less than 20% success rate and those that did flower produced only 1 flower. Mistral Bianco Centro Nero flowered with about 60% success rate and those that did flower only had 1-2 flowers. I have been growing De Caen Anemones for years, always with 100% success rate. De Caen corms are much bigger, Mistral Bianco Centro Nero were a little bigger than the rest of the Mistral and Galilee I got from Farmer Gracy (these were tiny) and therefore, I believe, Bianco Bentro Nero flowered better. Fritillaria meleagris did not come up at all.

Hello, We're sorry to hear that your Anemones have not been successful. The Galilee and Mistral varieties naturally grow from much smaller bulbs than the standard types and usually produce one or two blooms per bulb. They have longer stems and larger flowers, and they do have slightly different requirements to more common anemones. Please make sure you have contacted customercare@farmergracy.com so we can advise further. All the best, Farmer Gracy Customer Care

i got bulbs of Ranunculus Tomer Mix ? and every one rotted and turned in to a mush and they all went in to the bin. i grew this mix last year and had no problem, so i have ordered more just to see if it was something wrong with the bulbs?
Helpful Report
Posted 3 years ago
Hello, We're sorry to hear that your Ranunculus failed. This can be caused by wet conditions, heavy soil type and various other factors. It can also happen if the bulbs have lost their freshness (after longer than recommended storage). Please contact customercare@farmergracy.com with your order details and we will be happy to assist further. All the best, Farmer Gracy Customer Care

I ordered my first purchase from your company this season and decided to make the majority of plants from yourselves I were pleased with my first items received, My following orders have taken more than 28 days delivery not including an order made yesterday. Orders 17/3, 23/3 still no sign of them, poor service Going to be very late planting, eager to go and nothing to plant a very disappointed customer.

I ordered some bare root Papovers plants and when they arrived one was brown and soggy and the other 2 were not showing any sign of life. I soaked and potted up the 2 as soon as I received them as instructed over 3 weeks ago and there is no sign of life. I have written to Farmer Gracy twice to complain but have not received a reply. I will not be using Farmer Gracy for bare root plants again as they are obviously not reliable and could be a complete waste of money.

Plumeria Symphony. I ordered a “cutting” and received an almost dried up stick. Wasn’t expecting that but have followed instructions to see if this will grow. Maybe it would be a good idea to define “cutting” in future. Thank you. I would add that up to now have been very pleased with products.

Hello, Plumeria are supplied as cuttings, which are unrooted and ready to pot up. This is the most reliable way to propagate and transprt them without causing any harm to this sensitive plant. There are some in-depth instuctions available via the link below. We hope it goes well! https://www.farmergracy.co.uk/pages/planting-instructions#plumeria All the best, Farmer Gracy Customer Care

Well packed items but one of the four dahlia tubers supplied (Creme de Cassis) was very small and a poor specimen and I an doubtful whether it will produce any growth.

Hello, We're sorry to hear that one of your dahlias arrived in poor condition. Dahlia tubers come in all shapes and sizes and it is usually surprising how vigorous the smaller tubers can be. If you have concerns that it will not grow, please contact customercare@farmergracy.com. All the best, Farmer Gracy Customer Care
Posted 3 years ago
I ordered 3 each of dahlias black jack, sweet Suzanne and cafe au lait. Although the cafe au lait tubers were acceptable the others were disappointingly small. One tuber was barely the size of my little finger. I have ordered dahlias before from an alternative company and by comparison these were mediocre. It remains to be seen how they grow, they are planted in large pots and currently in the greenhouse. Unlikely to order again.

I would like to say I was very disappointed by the condition of the Dahlia tubers I received The biggest problem was that many tubers were broken at the neck an unacceptable amount I have set them up but I am not expecting too much They looked like I had bought them at the supermarket ☹

Hello, We're sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your dahlias It is very common for some of the tubers to become detached and difficult to avoid as they are sometimes very fragile, but providing there are still a good number of tubers attached then they should grow without any issues. Please contact customercare@farmergracy.com and supply a photo if possible - we'll be pleased to resolve any issues. All the best, Farmer Gracy Customer Care

I was very disappointed with my purchases. They were much smaller than I expected - the astilbe was one tiny root, not very good value for £6.95 and the geranium was not much bigger. I have potted them up and they are doing well but it will be some time before I get any flowers on them.

Hi, the agapanthus bulbes that I‘ve got are tiny mini nearly not visible, I am quiet disappointed! They cost a fortune!
Helpful Report
Posted 3 years ago
Hello, I'm sorry to hear that you have concerns about your Agapanthus. Roots do vary in thickness naturally, and thinner roots don't necessarily indicate that the flowers will be smaller - as perennials, these should grow larger each year. If you are uncertain about whether or not these roots are viable, please contact us at customercare@farmergracy.com and we'll be happy to advise further. All the best, Farmer Gracy Customer Care
