“The entire process, from selection of watch / strap combination, payment, shipping, everything was seamless! The watch arrived the next day & I was delighted with the quality of the packaging &, most importantly, the watch itself which has quickly replaced my Tag as the my "go to" timepiece.”

“Blue GMT numbers are hard to read in terms of size, placement and contrast. GMT time hard to set to correspond with main time. Second hand extends too far to edge and is too bold and distracting.”

“The watch has an attractive, clear face/dial and is a comfortable weight. The actual watch looks better than the website images. Service is very good and delivery prompt via Royal Mail. Packaging for post is good and the watch was well presented in a wooden box.”

“Really pleased with the watch. It's been widely admired. The only proviso I would add is that although I love the metal strap, it's not clear from the web site that it has two loose ends and is not continuous, with a folding clasp. It is therefore difficult for me( having considerable impairment to my hands) to actually get the thing on. So I may have to buy an alternative strap.”

“It was a tough choice deciding between the Lander and the Ponting. The Lander offers easier readability in both light and dark environments since it has white numbers and white hands against a dark dial. At night, the Lander's lume on the face and hands lights up like a Christmas tree and looks great. The Ponting on the other hand is a bit tougher to read in average or darker lighting since white hands on a light silver background don't offer as much contrast (and my eyesight isn't what it used to be). In the dark, the hour, minute, and GMT hands glow beautifully but the indices do not which makes it difficult to use without a point of reference on the face. I think there should should have been easy to see lume at the indices or at a minimum something significant at the 12:00 position for reference. However, I did not buy a watch to look good while I'm sleeping so I went with the Ponting which is more versatile style-wise and has a better overall face layout and design. The Ponting is a nice looking watch and fit and finish are great. I went with the Milanese mesh band and I'm very happy with it. It's very comfortable as well as versatile. But if that's not your style, it's easy to change up the watch from casual to classy with a simple band change. Between the three GMT automatics, the Ponting offers the best design IMHO with the shorter GMT hand and 24 hour markings in the middle of the dial. It's very easy to see and differentiate the GMT hand from the hour or seconds hand.”

“Had no issues at all with their service in relation to the delivery of the watch. I even wanted the complimentary engraving done on my watch and it was still delivered in UK the very next day. The watch by itself is fantastic. Something that a watch enthusiast must own, or at least, a brand that is necessarily getting there!”

“Lovely looking watch, beautiful straps, with lots of colour choice. Love the small mechanism in the strap that makes changing the strap really easy. It means I can have a winter and summer strap, and it feels like I have 2 watches.”

“Cannot rate Farer highly enough in all honesty. The service right from the start is very prompt, personal, professional and second to none. I dealt directly with two of the company directors and designers which is something that is unheard of I would say in most companies! It made a huge difference as I felt right from the start like a valued customer even before I had considered a purchase! Going to view the range of watches at the studio in London was a great exercise again being able to talk directly with one of the company directors and get a real insight into the company and also the watches from design to development. I was not pushed in the slightest to make a purchase but was able to try many watches and the lowest priced watch was talked about just as highly as the highest price which again made me feel I was not being pushed to purchase any particular watch which is really fantastic! I could then walk away have a think and (without much thought needed) opted for a Lander! Again the customer service for the purchase was second to none, incredibly prompt delivery, very well packaged and protected in a fantastic wooden Farer box! The watch itself is more than I dreamed of, its fantastic in every aspect from design through to build quality and function, easily my best watch purchase! I will definitely purchase from Farer again one day if I feel the need for another watch design but incredibly happy with the Lander! Thank you very much for the superb service all round and the most fantastic watch! Highly Highly recommend everything about this watch producer!!”
