Love the watch itself but the customer service has let me down. Twice I have contacted customer service about the strap length and they have failed to respond. When you have bought a "luxury watch" you expect "luxury service" and this is not it unfortunately. A shame as I think the watches are great and was tempted to buy another but cannot bring myself to take the risk of more poor service.

Hello James, Thank you for your review. Your initial contact was on vacation, hence a slight delay in response. I believe we have now solved your query by dispatching the XL strap to you. Kind regards Farer Watch Co

I already wrote a separate e mail to Farer but I didn't receive any acknowledgement, so not sure my comments are that important.

I bought the 2025 model Aqua Compressor Titanium. It's a okay watch and tells the time, but it's much smaller than I expected and the titanium makes it feel cheap. I wouldn't use it as a dive watch and the rotating bezel is more of a gimmick than anything functional. I was sucked in by the slick advertising. Certainly not worth £1,000. Overall pretty disappointed.

I ordered the green Durham Pullman. Overall it appears to be a very nicely made watch. I like the mesh bracelet alot. However, the green dial doesn't appear to be anything like the green as iI see in the promotional images. The dial on my watch is overly dark. it's almost black with a hint of grey...and frankly, I'm disappointed in this. Not quite sure what I should do. It's my first Farer.

I purchased the Pembroke II. It's a beautiful watch, with lovely attention to detail and amazing use of color. My primary issue is that it isn't particularly useful as a field watch. I originally liked the detail of the numerals being close in color to the dial. In bright light, it is fine. But in dim light, such as ambient light near dusk or dawn, the numerals are functionally invisible. I had envisioned this watch as my everyday, GADA watch, but I will not be taking this trail running, hiking, biking, or backpacking because it's important to me that I can read the watch at a glance, and the Pembroke II doesn't pass the test.

I Don t Like the leather strap so much. The watch is good. In my opinion the size could be a little smaller 36-37

Pretty nice but dial was a little disappointing. I know that it is a stone dial and cuts are unique but it feels like more thought could be put into the piece before crafting the piece. There is a large disparity between the advertised photo and actual product, which I would advise buyers to be cognisant of.

AR coating is too bad. glass is not clear as well as other micro brands such as smiths. I can't see dial without reflection movement is working precision but it is little noisy.

This review is purely about the straps. I have had two rubber straps, an orange and a blue one, neither of which has stood the test of time. With the orange one, it became impossible to re-attach one half of the strap because the little metal turret stopped pulling back the telescopic rod. So I bought a new orange strap. And then discovered that it was impossible to detach one half of my navy strap because the little metal turret had disappeared (see photo) - I guess it just fell off. So I had to cut away the rubber and then bend the rod to get it out. At around £70 a pop for a rubber strap, it makes it an expensive endeavour when the mechanism fails. I love being able to change straps but I would prefer it is the mechanism were a bit more robust.

Watches become almost double the price with taxes and duties, and a big part of that is their choice of courier. I’ve had watches shipped from the UK at a similar value and paid a fraction of this when DHL was the carrier.

Delivery was on time. Toll tax was not paid, so had to take care it myself. Was promised an immidiate reimbursment for that. A week later has yet to be recieved. The watch looks great. Sails cloth strap´s buckle is designed kinda pointy on the sides. A bit uncomfortable, specially when reaching to the pocket and it pushes against the side. Hope the steal bracelet is better. Have not yet tried.

Farer Lander IV I have now owned the Lander IV since October 2024. It is a beautiful and very comfortable watch to wear. Its colour works well and I recently upgraded the strap to a sea green one. The positives are certainly there. Innovative styling and design. The two negatives I have had are that I returned it due to very poor time keeping and this was found to be due to it being magnetised. I now need to regularly demagnetise it to keep it on time. The second time I had to return it to the workshop was following use in a small pool. The face fogged very badly and would not dry out. This was not following energetic swimming, nor did I do any diving. On getting the watch back I was informed by Farer that, “We would just emphasise your watch should not be worn in hot water I.e shower or bath.” I had expected more water resistance from a watch with a 10ATM rating. So in summary, it’s a lovely watch, Farer servicing is great, but I would prefer that there was less servicing needed.

I didn’t receive everything in my order upon first delivery, but after contacting Farer's customer team, they assisted in resolving the issue. I got my order in full in about 2 weeks time. In the end, the watch is great and I am enjoying my 2nd Farer watch!

Lovely looking watch which is why I ordered it. However, it is far too heavy for my wrists as I'm a woman. I would normally wear mens watches but this watch actually caused pains up my left arm due to the weight.

I have a moonphase watch. It looks very nice but there are a couple of problems: 1 - the moon is off by six hours. There is no way of correcting this. 2 - the shiny cushion case scratches easily. Your website does not explain how scratches can be removed. Do you do a case polish as part of a service?

I eagerly awaited the arrival and opened the packaging. Only to be disappointed with the case, which frankly looks cheap. Even the instructions are on a piece of cheap card. This subconsciously reflected on my view of the watch a great disappointment. The watch itself is nice and light, but the strap is a bit short. I had to use the last hole. For a premium watch the presentation needs to be a lot better. Had I not had it engraved I would have returned it

Hello Mark, Thank you for your feedback. The zip case is to enable a favourable weight to be shipped across the world, previously we utilised a more traditional wooden presentation box and this often became damaged, or more importantly did not offer sufficient protection for the watch in transit. The Durham Pullman watch and first strap I ordered arrived in great condition and look really nice. The watch itself runs quite quickly, gaining about 2 mins a day, with a power reserve of about 35 hours as opposed to the advertised 45 hours. I will continue to monitor the issue to see if it continues after several days of continued use. The second watch strap I bought - the Tan St Venere has a defect. The pin on the non-buckle side of the strap is too short and does not meet the 20mm lug to lug width and therefore does not fit to the watch and cannot be secured in place. It is unusable. I would consider buying from Farer again in the future if the problems with my first order can be solved

Hello, Thank you for leaving a review. If your Durham Pullman is running 2 mins fast, it has almost certainly been magnetised, a simple demagnetisation will correct the advanced time keeping. When winding the Durham Pullman, the resistance will start to build in the crown and spring back, but until the crown can not be advanced forward you can continue to wind. Please contact us at enquiries@farer.com and we would be happy to at the power reserve for you. Kind regards Farer Watch Co

I ordered the new Tonneau Milan watch and received a simple order confirmation via email. As the planned shipping date approached I wanted to coordinate the delivery since the watch is a gift. I contacted the Farer team via email (although I would prefer to have been able to speak with someone !) and thankfully they were able to accommodate my timing request. However, on the day of delivery, I did not receive proactive notification and tracking details for the delivery either from Farer or Royal Mail. The contact at Farer told me this should have happened automatically - to which I completely agreed - but it did not. Something on the Farer process did not happen as it should. This was disappointing and required me again to contact Farer via email. The watch arrived on time but these important shipment details should have been avoided and have impacted negatively my impression of Farer. The process has been functional and transactional - but a missed opportunity to build a relationship with a new customer, meaning I am unlikely to buy another watch from Farer.

The dial is too dark. The red color does not pop out as it does in promotional photos and renders. Under almost any light conditions, it looks more brown than red. The overall quality is Ok but not outstanding. The price is not justified. The price should be around US$500.

Hi Luis, Thank you for your feedback, what is unusual here, is it is completely contrary to all other views we have on the Discovery model. Many of the owners post their Discovery's on social media celebrating the change in dial from almost black to purple as light exposes the dial. With regards to the price reference, this is unsubstantiated so we will not comment. Regards Farer Watch Co

Delivery and packaging of the watch was excellent, I could not fault the service received. What let that down was the watch. The size is spot on, the colourway is lovely with a wonderful, vibrant blue dial and the 24hr hand with its pop of red is excellent. The water resistance at 200m is great. However, what is poorly executed is the date (colour matching to the dial is a nice touch) which is tiny and the lume. I was really disappointed in the execution of the lume, only the hour and minute hands glowed freely in dimmer light. The rest of the dial and bezel needed much more light in order to glow and then faded rapidly. Not a chance of the lume glowing much into the night. Sadly these are deal breakers for me and I have sent the watch back for a full refund.
