I wrote you a week ago about a watch I just bought from your company. No body had the common decency to write back about the problem I had with the band. Needless to say you’re customer service is terrible and this is why Iam changing my review. I can guarantee you I will never buy another thing from your company and will spread the word how terrible your customer service is!!!

I decided to get the new Aquamatic Biarritz, which seems to be quite interesting. The combination of the colours used on the Biarritz (& the other Aquamatics) is one of the reasons I decided to get one. I have a soft spot for divers watches. The Biarritz doesn't disappoint. The watch quality is pretty good, overall. Not perfect, but good. The size (& short L2L measurement) is perfect for my 6.5" wrist. It comes with three strap options, but I ended up pairing the watch with a black Hirsch Pure (rubber) strap. I think a black rubber strap would pair nicely with the Biarritz. I would've preferred if the metal bracelet had a standard clasp (not a butterfly clasp). The watch WR rating is 200 m, but it doesn't seem to have a screwdown caseback. Instead, the caseback is secured via four screws. I am glad the watch doesn't have a transparent caseback. I always prefer watches with solid caseback, but the very fine wave pattern on the Biarritz's caseback seems to be a dirt magnet. Not sure if I would call this a true dive watch: It has a good WR rating, but I can't see it as a serious divers watch like Seiko, Doxa, etc. Nonetheless, it is a good-looking (divers style) watch. The dial, hands, markers, and case are very well-proportioned. Legibility is excellent under most conditions. The Biarritz is my first Farer. I might get another Farer, but the majority of the Farer watches seem to come with transparent caseback. Not many of Farer watches come with solid caseback. Accuracy is good. Mine runs a bit late, perhaps 3-4 seconds behind per day. Overall, the Biarritz is a good value, and would be happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a colourful watch.

From browsing Farer website with indeepth details about the watches, to purchased and quick delivery Farer has been brilliant. I brought the Fairford watch as it was smart, and well designed. I was not disappointed with the quality of the Fairford. The timing functions are well documented with the accompanying manual. Unfortunately in the current climate the watch and I are keeping the required 2 meters from other people. Overall great watch and service from Farer.

I have a Farer watch that I was happy with until about one year of use -- when the hour hand slowed down and is now completely misaligned. Prior to the issue, I had no problem hearing back from Farer customer service about various questions, but once I had an issue, they completely ghosted me. I've emailed 3 or 4 times about this issue over 2 months. Not even a peep from them.

My lander watch looks great. Maybe slightly smaller than I originally envisaged but an eye catching design that'll never be out of fashion. The only things I will say is I was under the impression that it was a 100 number limited run, but I now see that having sold all 100, the run has now increased to 250, that's naughty in my opinion and misleading. If it's 250, 500 or whatever just make that clear from the beginning. Also the company should have a contact phone number on the website. I might be old fashioned, but I like to speak to someone if I have a question or query.

The excellent service I received from the gentlemen at Farer is of the sort that's sadly lacking in much of the retail and service sectors these days. The team went 'above and beyond' to make my purchase a most enjoyable experience and the extra effort and time afforded to me was very much appreciated. The watch is presented in a carefully thought out and splendidly crafted box which far exceeds the standard of those produced for many other high end watch makers and the opening 'ceremony' is one which befits the character of the watch itself. The workmanship, materials and sheer quality of my Ponting, I believe, transcends that which one might expect for the cost of the watch and there will be no criticism of its price point from me. As for the watch itself, well, aesthetics are in the eye of the beholder and I see the watch as exciting, vibrant and innovative and have no doubt that others who take the plunge for any of the GMT Automatics will feel likewise. How appropriate it is to say that I've discovered a new company to follow and I'm sure at some point in the future, I will revisit with a view to expanding my collection with another Farer. .

I love this Endeavour Titanium II so much. Highlights are the mint green second hand tip contrasting with the matt black, and the flat surface of the titanium around the sapphire glass, which often reflects as a perfect circle sitting within the softer shape of the rest of the case. The two crowns with bronze inlays are easy to grip and use when the watch is being worn. It has a nice balance of solid tool watch with some playful subtle design details. It keeps good time as well. It only gains 5 seconds a day which seems pretty good to me. The chunky real rubber strap which is more of a dark grey colour sits really well into the shape of the watch. It would be great to have the titanium strap back in stock, I’d be seriously tempted. Nice box containing a handwritten note coming with the fast delivery made it all perfect. Thanks Farer!

It was time that I had a Farer. Farer likes vintage design detail and highlights it with colours you may not have seen before - although some of them come from Porsche and Jaguar paint charts from the 1950s. The company motto could be ‘respectful irreverence’, but they’re serious when they talk about ‘the art of the dial’, and their judicious daring never seems to let them down. ‘Farer Universal’ might refer back to Universal Genève, but Farer is modern and fresh. Or post-modern, I guess, and you can argue all day about the merits of that. With this model, the case might be as distinctive as the dial. It’s reminiscent of Laurent Ferrier, but nobody could accuse Farer of being derivative in matters of design. It has evolved from the case of the original Stanhope model, which was a squarish cushion case, but it has become a hybrid of cushion and tonneau. It’s excellent, from every angle. So, it’s green - tea green, the colour of green tea. A bit of a departure for someone like me, who has only recently ventured into blue. Of the models in the range, the Mansfield was the one that seemed to have the dial elements just right, and everything locked into place when I picked the grey strap in the configurator. Farer says the Mansfield is a watch of ‘bold restraint’, which is a nice way of putting it. The case reveals different curves from every angle, the dial is three-dimensional, and I’ve never been so interested in a sub-dial. The colour-matching of the brand name is a nice touch, quietly done. The crystal is curved. It’s a three-part case, with all parts polished, complementing the hands and numerals. That looks like a good choice, but it would be interesting to see it with a satin finish. Laurent Ferrier does it both ways with similar cases, which suggests that there isn’t a right way. But the green… You can’t trust photos, and there was every chance I’d open the box and not like it - but I do. It’s more silky than metallic, and it’s calm. The grey strap probably has a neutralising effect. The two levels of the dial have different finishes, which results in different shades. The size is close to ideal - more presence than vintage, but handily less than 40mm, and not declaring ‘here I am’. In terms of quality, it’s hard to know how there could be more of it, without going to extremes. The gap between relatively affordable and upmarket seems to have vanished. There’s a bit of sparkle, a bit of restraint, and a lusciously cool colour. Good watch - and it makes me feel quite stylish, all of a sudden.

I knew this watch was going to be good, but in person, it surpasses my expectations. Every piece of the design feels sublime. This watch is going to be travelling with me for a long time.

I'm delighted with my new Resolute II automatic watch. Of course I can't comment on long-term performance at this stage but it's a fine combination of design and engineering that meets all of my expectations.

I have admired Farer for some time now, the company ethics, the designs, the backstories to each product series, and the attention to detail and manufacture. After very long deliberation I chose to buy a Crooms II and I am delighted with it! The purchase was easy, delivery quick and the packaging and presentation excellent. The dial, case and crystal all work in perfect harmony together, and the dial colour(s) and sunray effect are just beautiful. The hands are sharp and clear, the lume is bright, the crown is a delight to operate and the whole thing is a beautiful and tactile experience. In short, it feels special and looks special. Why did I give four stars and not five? Two minor niggles. Firstly I find the date window just a bit too small, I have to make a very conscious effort to look at it rather than just being able to read it with a quick glance. Secondly, and slightly more annoying to my OCD style brain, the GMT hand is a tiny fraction misaligned, and I do mean a tiny bit. However the result is than when the minute and hour hands exactly line up at 4pm, for example, the GMT hand is just a fraction off-centre at the 16.00 indices. Only the tiniest fraction but enough so that I noticed it. That said, it's a gorgeous watch and I will definitely be purchasing another Farer model in the future.

I was very lucky to buy the last available Carnegie; a watch which I had thought was sold out. The standard of finish is excellent and the design and colours are striking and very Fraser. The attention to detail is outstanding and exemplified by the high standard of the clasp and crown, which can be overlooked by some manufacturers. Accuracy is satisfactory at +6 seconds a day. The zip up case, instead of an impractical sometimes oversized box, is much appreciated.

For me, this watch is a reminder to go places. To explore life. To take healthy risks. To be a bit rare & vibrant, and not cookie cutter. A reminder than less…can often be more. It’s a reminder to be present, while also envisioning that other place in time. Oh time…how precious it is. Be an imaginative soul, and go forth. #Farer

Just bought a Aquamatic Thurso. The value here immense, 1 watch + 3 straps for most occasions. As for the movement, the finish and the strap quality...outstanding. The design is literally stunning. I can stop looking at it. My wife say when wearing it, people are drawn to the watch. It's cheeky in a very British way. So vibrant. Its speaks of the Sea and sun. Holidays abroad.. I have a large watch collection, this is truly unique.... I love it 😀
