“Lander GMT model. Nice watch, great quality and good delivery. Just wish more bands-straps options, like thinner soft leather bands. I think it would even enhance and highlight the watch itself. I have an issue with the power reserve supposed to be 40+ hours but very often the watch stops during the night after a few hours only. It happened several times and days in a row, even if I wear the watch during the day. Will contact Farer but not the kind of problem expected for this price level.”

“I have purchased one of the Farer Quartz watches and an extra rubber strap. I own multiple Omega and Tag Heuer watches, but wanted a quartz with a very readable watchface with illumination for the dark Nordic evening and nights. I have found the Farer to be a great watch, which is the very definition of value for money. Very nicely buid and destinctive, and I really like the case, the caseback, the glass and the crown. The straps also are quite nice and good quality, and the ease of interchangablility is something other brands should adopt! I only have one observation with a slightly negative tilt - the numerals and hour indicators are painted on the watch face, which is quite visible (a few "raised" indicators would be nice).”

“Bought my Carter last week. Love it. Very unpretentious but slightly quirky also. Not an easy thing to achieve. I now look forward to having a close look at the Lander when it is back in stock and deciding whether to buy that or the Oxley ?”

“The GMT Ponting sports a very cheerful yet decent colour scheme. Among all watches I own (~30) this one feels the most optimistic, summery, easy going. Nevertheless it is a serious watch, with a lot of character and a lot of bang for money. I am quite happy to have found it.”

“I bought a Carter as a reward for my son's graduation and wanted it before he started his first proper job. Ordered online at 11.00 p.m. on Thursday and asked for his name engraved on it. It arrived on Saturday morning - properly engraved. Brilliant Service. Good quality watch and different to the norm. Son's very happy”

“Beautifully designed watch, and very good value. Mine is the Carter II quartz watch and it is totally silent. Only criticism is the "Milanese" metal strap which I chose. It looks great but is very difficult to fasten unless you happen to have 3 hands! It really should have a fastening with a length set for one's choice and easy to close with one hand. I can't recommend this strap.”

“The first time a saw my Stark watch I was impressed with the swanky packaging and ease of changing strap to fit my mood, activity or outfit! The engraving is a nice touch too. It's a perfect heirloom piece, given to me for my 18th Birthday, a watch to admire and treasure for years to come.”
