“I have the Oxley. The best thing is, it looks even better in real life. Especially the outer rim of the dial doesn't come out on the pictures but it is stunning! The whole watch is full of contrast and surprises all in a very stylish way!”

“My lander watch looks great. Maybe slightly smaller than I originally envisaged but an eye catching design that'll never be out of fashion. The only things I will say is I was under the impression that it was a 100 number limited run, but I now see that having sold all 100, the run has now increased to 250, that's naughty in my opinion and misleading. If it's 250, 500 or whatever just make that clear from the beginning. Also the company should have a contact phone number on the website. I might be old fashioned, but I like to speak to someone if I have a question or query.”

“I was a little nervous spending this much on a watch but had been left some money by my late father so decided to treat myself and have the watch engraved with his initials and the years he was alive. I didn't just want a 'brand' name - not that I have anything against them and have owned many big brand names over the years. I wanted something British and a little bespoke if possible. Suffice to say I needn't have worried as the moment I opened the box I knew I'd made the right decision. The build quality is second to none and the minute I held the Farer Lander I felt the build quality in my hands. I cannot say how much I love this watch having worn it for a few days now. The attention to detail is amazing and you can tell this has been assembled by true professionals in Switzerland and not mass produced in a factory in China. I love the bronze crown - a subtle but beautiful touch, and the sea green dial which changes with the light. I love the combo of retro touches but packaged together in a modern way - there is nothing on the market that looks like this and it certainly isn't going to be mistaken for anything else. I can't wait to see what Farer do next and I suspect that this won't be my first and last watch from them. I'd better start saving!”

“The process of choosing and ordering my watch was very easy and the website is intuitive. After ordering my watch I decided to change the strap and this was done with out fuss and expedited quickly. All in all an easy and pleasurable experience... and watch is lovely!”

“Really a 3.5 star rating. Pretty watch. Feels well made apart from the very irritating fact that the second hand doesn't align to the minute markers. It is a quartz but I would expect it to for a £400 plus watch. Sub £100 Seikos can so no excuse really.”

“I have a Beagle and am very pleased with the look and feel of the watch. It is great and fits every occasion not flashy just good looking. Only thing is time keeping not quite as I expected, gains up to two minutes every day, at least I am no longer late for things.”

“BEAGLE.. I had slight problem with delivery, but the nice gentlemen at farer sorted with little pressie for me. Packaging was safe & sturdy. Watch box is fabulous. Watch...... What can i say! Light face with gorgeous green hands.... Mod but Vintage as well!! The second hand sweeps majestically with its red A tip, ITS BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I have had it on for the 4 days i opened the box and think I'm wearing out the colours by looking at it so much!!!! it might have gained by a couple of seconds, so what!!!! this is a man-made machine not a radio controlled digital piece of plastic, its got soul.”

“The excellent service I received from the gentlemen at Farer is of the sort that's sadly lacking in much of the retail and service sectors these days. The team went 'above and beyond' to make my purchase a most enjoyable experience and the extra effort and time afforded to me was very much appreciated. The watch is presented in a carefully thought out and splendidly crafted box which far exceeds the standard of those produced for many other high end watch makers and the opening 'ceremony' is one which befits the character of the watch itself. The workmanship, materials and sheer quality of my Ponting, I believe, transcends that which one might expect for the cost of the watch and there will be no criticism of its price point from me. As for the watch itself, well, aesthetics are in the eye of the beholder and I see the watch as exciting, vibrant and innovative and have no doubt that others who take the plunge for any of the GMT Automatics will feel likewise. How appropriate it is to say that I've discovered a new company to follow and I'm sure at some point in the future, I will revisit with a view to expanding my collection with another Farer. .”
