“Firstly, the watch looks amazing. It's what obviously drew me to be a customer in the first place. Secondly, I opted for an engraving on the back which should have added a few extra days to delivery, but I still managed to get it delivered the next day - phenomenal. Thirdly, the packaging was amazing and the handwritten thank you card was such a fantastic touch. I'm genuinely impressed. If I had the money, I would honestly purchase every single watch in the collection.”

“I purchased a Farer watch for my husbands birthday and he loves it. The watch looks even more spectacular on the wrist as it does on your web site, it arrived the next day well packaged and well presented. as for customer service ten out of ten, any questions I had were answered swiftly making the whole experience uncomplicated and very easy. “I fell for the distinctive style of the Barnato GMT, and since November 2016, none of my other watches (including a Submariner) have been on my wrist once. I just purchased a jeans coloured perforated strap for a bit of variety and absolutely love it. No doubt, I shall buy another before long.”

“Customer service was great and the watch arrive from the UK in Australia in less than a week. Watch is packaged attractively and looks of good quality. My only comment is that the strap lets the watch down a little. Not quite as attractive as the rest of the package.”

“Great design, looks good on arrival. Mineral crystal doesn't show as well as sapphire and brass crown is tarnished in the first week of ownership. Concerned about long term quality as a result.”

Hi Ian - thanks for your review. We recently upgraded the Barnato and Carter to have solid bronze crowns, to match the crowns on our Automatic range. This is likely why you think that your crown is tarnished - it is in fact the patination from natural oxidisation. You can easily return the crown to being shiny by polishing with a cloth and a polishing product such as Peek. If you still have issues/questions then please send more detailed photographs to enquiries@farer.com and we will resolve. In terms of the crystal - the Barnato has a sapphire coated glass as per the specifications on Farer.com. Please drop us a note if you have other questions. Thanks, The Farer Team.

“My son bought a Farer watch which he loves, so I was pleased to see you have a selection of straps. I bought a black leather one for his birthday. I'm sure he will enjoy having an alternative look for his Farer. I was very pleased with the quality of the leather. The ordering process was straightforward and the delivery was made promptly. “I've been wearing my Lander GMT everyday for about two weeks and it brought a great amount of joy every time I look down on my wrist. I bought a second strap two weeks in and am also very happy with it, as it changes the overall feel of the watch. It makes me realise how much I appreciate a good design and needless to say, GMT is a very practical function. Talking to one of the founders in their London office proves to be very helpful. Their shipping speed is also incredibly fast.”

“I own a Hopewell. I couldn't personally be happier about the design: elegant, simple and gorgeous. The size of the watch fits my wrist perfectly. Also, the customer service at Farer is excellent; the sapphire crystal glass on my watch cracked due to a violent accidental fall and, once I paid for shipping alone, an other free-of-cost sapphire glass was sent to me so I could get it fixed in India (where I currently reside).”
