“The quality of vinyl is excellent but delivered in 3 rolls and all different colour!!!! Recognise in a fitting day by builder… Luckily it was fitted in workroom if for the floor in a house - will be disaster….”

“Great service and answered the phone promptly when contacted. Would’ve been 5 star if they would have included the adhesive with the flooring I purchased, but it was left off of the order 🙈”

“Order arrived too late for us to take delivery. People awaiting that delivery, kerbside, to transfer to 3rd floor without a lift. I paid for an AM delivery, which was then repaid. No recompense for 2 guys waiting around all day. Order delivered next day. Flooring really nice and what we ordered. Helpful people on the phone regarding what we needed for this project. Couriers are the main problem , as usual.”

“This produce is OK, it is not easy to install, the click edges on the ends of the planks are not well machined and in some cases need to be plained off in order to install as they just would not join neatly to give the desired finish. I only ordered 4 packs these arrived on a pallet with another pallet sized piece of plywood that the carrier was not interested in taking back so I had to dispose of this. had to break up and put in recycle bin as I am not a tradesperson. Also, watch out on price, would only find out the VAT is not included until the checkout, leaving you feeling a bit conned! Overall the finished product is OK, but the hassle will make me go to a DIY store next time. I would not normally write a review but if you delete the emial you just keep getting requests so this is it!”

“Ordered two samples ten days ago and still no show. Emails indicated they were dispatch same day, so likely a fault of their chosen carrier. Even though I can't fault FD for such a swift dispatch, I would be concerned about any order I placed getting here on time given it would be sent the same way.”

“Samples came really quickly however after making a choice and trying to order the flooring we had chosen discovered it had been discontinued Left in a quandary now as have to go through the whole process again”

“Flooring showed up a day late. It wasn't a critical delay for be as I was fitting it myself and didn't have a buyer or tennant Raymundo waiting. Something to keep in mind if your deadlines are tight.”

“Factory Direct Flooring provide an excellent product with a very easy ordering system. Their distribution and delivery system unfortunately is dreadful in my experience. The carriers they use seem to treat their customers like mushrooms ( keep them in the dark ) fail to answer the phone and ignore emails. I would be unlikely to reorder from them until they resolve this problem.”

“The floor looks good. Customer Service could be better as I called twice in advance to make sure delivery would happen on a particular date and was reassured both times it would. It still arrived a day late.”

“Firstly the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing, you took out payment and on same day emailed me to say it was out of stock. But as asked you did refund me. But this means I don’t have the product to review.”

“The order process was OK. Delivery if done in an afternoon means you get no time estimate or even confirmation that the order will be delivered. This was acknowledged as an issue by the company. Be aware though that while you are encouraged to buy an extra 10% to cater for any issues during installation, if you are left with remaining full packs you cannot return these if they were delivered more than 30 days before the refund is requested. For most jobs you get the material in advnace and not just in time. So don't order any flooring if you think you will want a return of excess unless youare installign straight away.”

“I would give Factory Direct Flooring 5 stars, but the delivery company chosen to deliver our products were beyond dire, and barely deserve even a 1 star rating. Asked who was the real loser between my fiancée (disabled) or him, who earns £10 an hour when she told him of our frustrations that he wouldn’t take the pallet off the lorry and made me do it instead, taking each item off individually. Absolutely abhorrent and would make me never want to use FDF again as these are the clowns they choose to represent their company when delivering a product we paid good money for.”

“I'm a long standing customer and have ordered laminate flooring and underlay many times before. However, on this occasion customer service fell below what I'd previously experienced. I have arranged for my partner to collect my order whilst I'm at work, and told her to ring before leaving to ensure the order was ready to collect. She rang and spoke to 'Steve' who was nothing, but rude to her over the phone. So much so, that she felt the need to ring me following the call as she was extremely upset. This is very disappointing as we haven't experienced anything like this when ordering and collecting before.”
