“The customer service centre was pleasant and easy to deal with. The product is of good quality and as description. The only down side was that I paid for a timed delivery slot 2.00 - 3.00 in the afternoon but I received a call from the driver at 10.00 in the morning! Luckily I was in to receive the goods at around 11.00am.”

“Initially ordered a sample of flooring on 27th December which I liked. Ordered flooring on 2nd Jan, advised it wasn't in stock but due to flooring direct on 23rd, so we waited, although I think that should be made clear when a sample is sent that they don't actually have the goods. Money taken immediately on 2nd. Phoned for updates on 24th, advised that 23rd wasn't set in stone and there was problems with supplier, nothing further advised. We'd taken time off work to fit the floor that week which was wasted. Following week I phoned again, told it wouldn't now be until end of March. When I expressed my frustration was simply told that it's a problem with the supplier and they were frustrated too. Hate it when companies who are middle-men don't own a problem, there's never an issue taking my money (which will take 2 days to come back), what's the point in their service if they're just telling you what someone else tells them on the phone. Going to get my money back and shop somewhere else after wasting 6 weeks and a days holiday from work, wouldn't recommend Factory Direct (especially if they don't have what you want in stock). Don't think they should send samples of goods they clearly don't have and can't get for months, it'd be like selling stuff on eBay that you don't have.”

Hi Dawn, Thanks for your review - I can see that you placed your order early January and took advantage of the discount on offer. There was a notification on the website that advised your items were on " back order " We also called you on 03/01/17 @ 10:51 to advise that we were chasing a due date for the items. You then called us to chase 26/01/17 where we advised we would come back to you shortly. On 31/01/17 @ 14:41 I had tried to call you to advise of the expected date which was the end of March - It was only when you came back to us on 03/02/17 @ 10:56 you made us aware you were unable to wait any longer. Its not that we haven't taken responsibility for this, the problem is that as the goods are shipped from China, if there are delays this is out of our control and as all we can do is update the customer as and when we are updated. When we give dates we do advise that is is an estimate and we had never given you a delivery date or asked you to take time off work. With regard to payment, yes you did pay online via our website to reserve the stock at the advertised price with the discount that was on offer at the time. Overall We are very sorry that you were not able to wait any longer and also that we couldn't get the product in stock any sooner. We did refund your money as soon as you requested it.

“Love this flooring and appears good quality with a 20 year guarantee orderin process was easy company contacted me to arrange delivery on a day that suited me and delivered on time small problem with one of the boxes but after a simple call a replacement box was sent out will definitely order again. Also very fast delivery of free samples”

“I have purchased laminated flooring on 3 ocassions now from Factory Direct Flooring...I always ask for James who is so polite and helpful of which nothing is too much trouble...Factory Direct Floorings prices are very hard to beat that when i receive my new flooring , it goes together beautifully..No messing about...I would recomend this company to anyone who is thinking of purchasing new flooring...When you buy once you will keep going back...From a very satisfied customer....Claire Watson...”

“Flooring / laminate / prestige white oak ordered and scotias etc. Now fitted and looks lovely, husband laid the flooring and found it fit together nicely. Boards are good quality, delivery good and nice guy delivered it. I did make a mistake on ordering and had to phone the company immediately and they rectified it in no time. They also kept us informed of order received, amendment made and the delivery booking and confirmation. It was so easy dealing with them. Would definitely recommend this company.”

“I ordered aquastep online and then within a couple of days, received a telephone call to arrange the delivery to suit me. The delivery came on the day it was supposed to and was preceded by a phone call from the driver. The product is now on my bathroom floor and looks fabulous. Superb service all round.”

“Not flexible with prices also colour of flooring not on packaging also was sapose to call me 1 hour before but got a call when he arrived on my road and was rude and wanted the builder to walk to the end of road and walk up with 80 packs of flooring MAD!!!”
