“I paid £72 for Saturday delivery. I waited in for 10 hours and the product did not arrive. Very dissatisfied, I will now have to rearrange and waste yet another day waiting for it. Aside from this, staff do seem very nice yet somewhat dis-organised as I had 2 calls with different advisors who said that delivery had not yet been confirmed when I had already called directly to arrange a date.”

Hi Laura, As per our emails this morning, please accept our sincere apologies for the error on the delivery date. In all fairness to the courier this was 100% our fault due to an admin error on the delivery date. For this reason i have processed a full refund for the delivery charge and re arranged your delivery as per our emails. Thank you for being so understanding about the issue, i will certainly look into the other issue you have raised about the confusion over if a date had been arranged or not. Although this is a 1 star review which is very unusual for us, your feedback is very important and we thank you for taking the time to submit your review. “Easy to order and good guidance from the staff there. Quick delivery, very professional attitude and approach. My only criticism, is that the delivery company would only deliver to kerb/door. If it was for an elderly or limited mobility person, then they would be stuck (and the delivery guy was miserable)! I had to rush to bring it in doors as it was left in the rain!”

“I have bought engineered wood, laminate and now vinyl click flooring from the boys and girls at Factory Direct and have been very pleased with all aspects of the service, the price of the products is competative, the delivery is excellant and when I've needed to contact them with an enquiry they've been helpful. I would strongly recommend them to others.”

“Great deal on flooring, and I managed to get it all down in my kitchen with a few boards to spare. Which was lucky because if I had needed another pack or even one board then the delivery charge would be the standard £29 regardless of the size of the order. Therefore my advice would be to make sure that you get everything in the one order.”

“Flooring good quality for a good price, however the kerbside delivery is shocking. I paid extra for a specific time slot, the goods were delivered 5 hours before the scheduled time, my 16 year old daughter was in at the time and the driver had missed off part of the order, my husband came over from work to lift the items into the house, noticed the missing item and questioned the driver, who said, the girl she checked it! She’s a kid! Wouldn’t know one end of flooring from another! Apart from the debacle of the delivery process, the items are of good quality at at a reasonable price.”

“As a company your sales side is very good. When it comes to delivering the product, the company is sadly let down. On the first occasion the delivery driver was rude and unhelpful, to which I reported to your company. This time the delivery was non existent! after staying in all day. When the delivery was confirmed for Friday 26th of January, I gave the caller my telephone number so the driver could ring an hour before delivery, needless to say none of this happened.”

Dear Mr Seywood, Please accept our apologies for the delayed delivery. As we discussed the driver had marked it as " check address " at 19:15 so we didn't realize until the next morning that it hadn't been delivered. I can see that the delivery was prioritized once we confirmed the house name and we also refunded 50% of the delivery charge as a goodwill gesture. Thank you for taking the time to write your review, the feedback regarding delivery has been passed onto the courier.

“This is the second time we have used Factory Direct and we find the service is very good. From phoning just after making the order to the delivery the customer service has been excellent. We start the flooring tomorrow and am sure all the tiles will be a great quality and fit.”
