“The joins on this flooring are not suitable, after approx 6 months they started coming apart,they do not stay together and I have had to use glue due to week end connection design.Certainly would never use this type of flooring again.”

“Up to the point of delivery I was very impressed with the speed and courtesy of the customer services, however delivery was to be between 8am and 6pm. I waited in the house on the hottest day of the year so far until and then sat in the garden for half an hour leaving a message at the door in case the delivery came. Nothing. No call. No tiles. I guess this is another wasted day that poor service will not be recognised.”

Hi Mr Bigmore, I am sorry that there was a problem with your delivery - we have since spoken to the courier and are trying to find out exactly what time the goods will be with you today - As agreed by telephone - we will contact you with an update ASAP - further to that I have also refunded the delivery charge to you.

“Awful service. I ordered my flooring a week ago and have arranged for someone to be around for the delivery today to have just received a call to say this will now not be delivered until tomorrow. This is unacceptable as tomorrow I will have no one to take delivery of this item.”

Hi Chloe, Yes we did encounter some problems today affecting numerous customers - this is the first time in 3 years that this courier has not collected the goods from us on time - We did speak to your partner first thing this morning who was very understanding about the problem and confirmed deliver the following day would be ok. Also i am pleased that after you wrote this review we managed to agree on a suitable time to deliver the goods to you - as agreed we have upgraded you to a timed delivery on a 2 hour window free of charge, at least you won't have to wait in all day on Friday for the goods to be delivered. :- ) Thanks for taking the time to review our services.

“The vinyl flooring was described accurately and looks good when laid. The only problems encountered were the weight of the product and the unusual shape of the room but it was worth the effort, Thank you.”

“My experience of Factory Flooring was very good, their website is easy to navigate through, helpful when it came to place my order. The goods were delivered within 3 days and again a good delivery service. I would recommend them to anyone.”

“Can't fault the service, price better than anywhere else, even better when I had a discount code. Opted for standard delivery but received the next day at no extra cost. Going to be a couple of weeks before we're ready to lay but think it's going to look great.”

“Excellent quality at reasonable prices. Looks great. My only quibble is that to deliver to PA23 (neither Highlands or Islands but apparently classed as such despite being only an hour from Glasgow) I was charged £105. To deliver to my friend in PA19 it's £21. Unfortunately my friend was on holiday when I needed the flooring and I paid the £105. When I raised this with the company I was told that delivery was at cost as this was what the carrier charged. Time to change carrier as they are obviously ripping the company off as my delivery was made by a local carrier who collects from Glasgow or Edinburgh and delivers to this postcode for different national carriers who charge normal delivery rates. Thinking of setting up a blacklist on Facebook of companies who charge this excessive rate for this postcode when they could use other carriers who do not do this. Generally I, and many other people who live in this area, do not order from companies who class this postcode as being 'Highlands and Islands' and who levy a surcharge on delivery. Despite this the flooring is great!”

“I cannot recommend Factory Direct highly enough. The customer service on the telephone was of very high standard . They under promised and over delivered with my product arriving in the factory earlier than expected and delivered within two days of arrival . Fantastic value and quality flooring which looks amazing. We did a lot of research on line and in large number of outlets and Factory Direct was miles above the rest. Would definitely recommend and use again without hesitation Pauline Beirne Stirlingshire”

“Received a phone call and e mail the day after ordering to arrange delivery. A pleasant and organised experience and the product was delivered as stated on the day stated. The delivery was on a pallet and was brought to the door and I was assisted in offloading. It couldn't have been better. It will be a couple of weeks before floor is laid so cannot comment on standard of flooring other than to state a box has been opened and it appears to be as stated. Thank you.”

“I bought the 18mm x i25mm rustic oak, the price was great the delivery charge was more than reasonable . I live in cornwall. the product itself is of very good quality I should know I have put down a few floors in my time and the people at head office are more than helpful with delivery dates. when I need more oak flooring this firm will be my first port of call. dave banwell”

“Good website and after I had placed my order I quickly received a follow up telephone call to confirm details and to arrange a delivery date. Goods delivered on time and although I have not yet had a chance to fit flooring everything appears to be in order and would certainly use again.”

“After being extremely dissapointed with the delivery not arriving on the specified day (having asked someone to wait in all day for me to receive it between 8am-6pm!), I am glad to say, when we fid receive the flooring the following day we were extremely pleased with the product. Customer service were friendly and helpful however...it was just ashame about the wasted day. That aside, very good product, already laid, and looks brilliant. Will be using it again..so fingers crossed delivery goes better!”
