Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Medical Conditions, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Easy to purchase on-line. Had to phone to clarify an issue and this was dealt with very quickly and helpfully by a staff member. Pleased with the price paid. However, insurance documents not sent by e-mail and had to call again to get this done. Have not made any claim so cannot rate this aspect.”

“No trouble gettin' it but difficult to say how things would have been if I'd had to use it, and I was only in USA for 3 weeks. But I would contact them again, and I hope they'ed take me on since I've just turned 80!”

“Difficult to review Explorer Travel Insurance, as I have yet to make a claim ( and hopefully won't have to)!, which is the real test of a policy. I can say that the website is easy to use, configure with all my requirements, include medical conditions and still come out the other side with a competitive quote. It was not the cheapest, but online research (including information from those that had claimed) persuaded me to choose this company. Come back and ask to review again in 12 months time, when renewals are due and I have more online research behind ,me.”
