Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Medical Conditions, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Website easy to use, have purchased many polices in the past for our cruises with no problem. I suppose the proof of the pudding will be if we ever have to make a claim, although I hope it will never come to that.”

“Hi, As a first time user of Explorer Travel Insurance I can only say Applying was very easy and straightforward. Q & A was assisted by prompting which medical problems may need to be reported. As with everyone who proceeds on a foreign holiday they hope the services of the company will not be needed. This was the case on our holiday and thankfully we did not require medical/sickness support and as with ALL types of insurance (Car, House or Travel) it is only when things go wrong can an insurance be found to cover the circumstances of what has gone wrong. I can however on price acknowledge that in my case the cost was less than what I believe was the market leader and much less than other companies I tied on individual sites and comparison sites online. I recommend the company wholeheartedly on price and ease of applying.”

“3rd year of using explorer on line straight forward answer the questions get the price and pay, documents sent almost at once by email. Did my usual comparison of course have not had to claim thankfully so can not comment on that.”

“I had to make a claim for an accident whilst on holiday in Mexico which necessitated me having to stay overnight in hospital. I submitted my claim which was paid without any problems in just over one month. I think that was excellent service. Many thanks.”
