Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Medical Conditions, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Seems like a good company, but like all reviews it is hard to say how good they are unless you make a claim. which I am hoping I WILL NOT HAVE TO DO !!!!!!”

“This is our 2nd year with your company and fortunately we haven't had to claim for anything yet but when Monarch went bust last year and we thought we may have to claim, you sent us the claims form that we may have needed promptly, so we get the feeling that you are on the ball and well organised .”

“I have chose Explorer Travel Insurance for the last few years. This site is easy to use and the prices for preexisting medical conditions are good in comparison to other insurers. Lucky I haven't had to make a claim so can't comment on the claims side.”

“Recommended via a newspaper article and used for a 6month visit to Australia and now a 3 week to America. No experience of a claim. Would have preferred an annual cover policy with top ups for extended stays (3, 6& 12 months) and America visits. For those of us fortunate enough to travel as and when the mood takes this would be good.”
