Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I find the medical questions don’t give you the chance to input any extra information: for example, I have had a heart attack and a stent inserted but I do not have high blood pressure and never have although I have to take medication for high blood pressure. I also have to take statins for high cholesterol but have never had a high cholesterol in any investigation. Perhaps the forms could be reviewed with space for extra information to be added.”

“Explorer Travel Insurance has provided me with the insurance I need, despite my pre-existing conditions, to go on holiday with the confidence of knowing that I'll be covered for any forseeable eventualities. “Easy to purchase. Existing medical conditions added with ease. Price for several separate trips work out cheaper than paying for an annual policy. To date haven’t needed to make a claim on any policy taken out. Cannot comment on their claims handling.”
