Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I have used this company previously for my parents, they were fantastic when I had to claim as my dad was far too ill to travel when it came to him going away, so I thought I would give them a try for my husband and myself for an annual policy. Unfortunately for us, my husband had to have a major operation so we had to cancel our holiday, it was not as straightforward as usual as covid had put a lot of pressure on the company with cancellations. However a wonderful gentleman called Ian got onto the case for us and everything was sorted out quickly in the end. I will be using the company again and would recommend them.”

“I’ve used Explorer Travel for a couple of years now and I’m very happy with the service. Easy to arrange, competitive price and clear guidance given. I particularly like they email you emergency contacts just before you leave on your trip, as they are so handy to have in your in-box. Will use again definitely.”

“Easy to use website and medical declaration forms. Have used this company for a number of years as they have very competitive prices for covering pre existing conditions. We know they are reliable if you need to claim as we have unfortunately had to do this after my husband fell and broke his hip in Egypt. Had no trouble claiming and getting help while out there. There were a couple of problems during the event but nothing major. You only know how good an insurance policy is until you need to use it.”

“Been with this company for years. Easy to navigate website, competitive policies and always prompt response to any queries I have. Also, during Covid-19 when holidays were cancelled they behaved with integrity which says a lot about the company as a whole. Top marks!”
