Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I used Explorer Travel Insurance in November 2019. The price of cover has gone up but I realise times are different now and I am three years older! You were not the cheapest quote but I chose you based on previous experience.”

“Would certainly recommend it. Have had annual travel insurance with Explorer for a number of years and always found the yearly cost reasonable even though my husband needs medical insurance on top. Just a shame that the insurance is only available up to the age of 70.”

“I have dealt with Explorer Travel Insurances many times and have found their service excellent as I have various health problems which they have covered on my insurances at a very reasonable cost. I once had to make a claim for my husband as he had required medical assistance during a cruise we were on and when we returned home I sent off the claim form with the covering letter from the cruise doctor and within a matter of days I had received the money back for the treatment my husband had received. The service was first class and would recommend them. I have already recommended them to my friends.”

“We got covid and have had to claim for our holiday, we can’t get hold of anyone, sent our claim 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing back. When buying it they were very helpful on the phone. If they could be as helpful with the claim I would appreciate it”
