Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“This is the second year running I have purchased your holiday insurance. This years does not take effect until 9th. December. Hopefully it is only for peace of mind and I don't have to make a claim. At present I have never had to make any type of claim. Explorer is a very competitive price and long may it remain so. The only downside is you sent me an e-mail offering a 5 percent discount...well I am still waiting!! ...I might add that offering a dicount for such a competitive price is like throwing money away, It is in my opinion not really necessary, but if you want to do this then stick to your word and give it. It is difficult to award all 5 stars because as I have never claimed, I am unlikely to know how good you are. At presesnt everything is going well, competitive prices and phone manner is good.I hope you continue to show a high standard of customer service.”

“We've been buying Explorer Annual Travel Insurance on-line for some years now - and the procedure has been simple enough. However, 'the proof of the pudding' as it's said 'is in the eating' - and we haven't yet needed to make a claim!”

“When we purchased travel insurance for 2019 it was a lot cheaper even though my husbands medical history was the same. This was because you have changed the wording on the form! Last time it said " Do you use Morphine, now it says do you take strong pain killers including Tramadol" Not fair! The policy cost nearly double!”
