Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“If you are over 70 travel insurance is all about pre-existing conditions. I have a condition called polycythaemia which is not at all dangerous if it is known about and checked on by a consultant. But I am penalised by huge premiums which the consultant says are unjustifiable just because I have it looked at regularly.”

“Friendly and helpful staff, in renewing our travel insurance. Everything explained fully and seems to be a comparative price. Can't comment on performance if making a claim, but thankfully we have never had to, but everything seems to be covered in the covering documents.”

“Buying the policy was very straightforward and well priced but the real test is if you ever had to make a claim. Fortunately so far I haven’t had to, but my holiday is not until September this year, so here is keeping my fingers crossed that everything is alright.”
