Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Medical Conditions, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Not a problem with the setting up the policy online, i need to call to make a slight change as as i work 9-5 each day i am not able to get in touch with anyone, called today at 5.30 and was in a queue till closing and never manged to speak to anyone. I have used Explorer before and i made a claim for missed port on a cruise....service was excellent and was sorted and paid out in no time at all. Would just like to be able to speak to Customer Service”

“I cannot write a review as I have not travelled yet and had no cause to make a claim. So all I can do is say that it was easy to take out a policy . I have medical problems It seemed to be reasonably priced.”

“This is my favourite health travel insurance. provider. Cover is also provided for existing medical conditions at a good price. My sister also uses this company on my advice. Last year one of her holidays was cancelled by the tour company and she received an immediate refund of her insuronce premium after sending evidence of the holiday cancellation.”
