Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“This is difficult as the review would only really be possible if the policy was activated and needed as a result of an adverse event. On the surface this seems to cover the necessary adverse events that I may encounter during travelling in a foreign country.”

“I guess the real measure of an Insurer is how they manage a claim, so can't comment on that! However, I found the policy was easy to specify and purchase and competitively priced. But I was particularly impressed with the service when I had to postpone my trip by 6 months or so - no problem at all, friendly helpful agent, and very quickly completed.”

“We have tried to make a claim, after an accident, through the online platform and have not received any confirmation that the claim has been received or heard back from anybody. We submitted the claim on 25th August 2022.”
