Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Medical Conditions, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I have purchased travel insurance with yourself twice now and whilst not having to use it , I have been impressed with how easy and self explanatory it is. I intend on using it again within the next 12 months for my honeymoon.”

“I needed a policy which covered a trip in excess of 31 days at a reasonable price. I would have renewed with my usual insurer but their premium for my extended trip once I declared my medical condition was in excess of that from Explore Travel. I have had no contact other than buying the policy so can’t say anything more only that I got quotes from 5 competitors and Explorer Travel was the best. Once I turn 65 though I will have to pay more for my policy so at that time I will shop around again.”

“I have, thankfully, never had to claim on travel insurance so cannot rate you for anything connected to that. I can only rate you on the process of purchasing such insurance and I have been entirely satisfied with that.”

“The policy seems to cover our requirements as stated in the policy wording, but, as we have not had to claim on any of our policies , past and current I am unable to pass comment on any claims.”

“Generally enquiries are efficiently answered however similar to other Travel Insurance Companies single trip cover cannot be obtained beyond 12 months ahead of travel. When cruise companies in particular offer cruise excursions 18 months to 2 years ahead why is it insurance cover cannot be secured?”
