“We have 3 cars insured with you - when they were with 2gether we used them for my sons on a few occasions and had no problem, since they have been with you we have had two bad experiences and will not be using you as each one expires again. Firstly my son called you out as his car wouldn't start when your mechanic came it just started, he said to my son well nothing I can do call me again if you have any other problems on the way out my sons car again broke down he called you (as he was told to)and was charged £100 as you had already been out that day. Then we slid into a ditch and couldn't get the car out the only time we have ever called you for us in several years and was told we weren't covered. Not great we will be going to green Flag”

“My car wouldn't start in the garage during the cold spell and snow. Called for assistance and someone came out in under 90 mins which was great. However I was just told my battery was dead. Despite the breakdown man turning up in a recovery truck he said he wasn't authorised to recover my car less than a mile down the road to leave at the nearest garage as my policy is 'home start' only cover. What the heck does home start cover cover then if they chap failed to start my car at my home! Pathetic! Avoid!”

“The call for reporting the breakdown was answered promptly and although waiting time was 90 minutes I received assistance in 35 minutes. Within 10 minutes the car started. The Recovery Operator was very courteous and helpful. So all in all a pleasant experience!”

“I broke down and tried all contact numbers for this company for 3 hours straight, no answer, no messages, nothing! My wife and 4 children under 9 had to come and collect me in sub zero temperatures and the roads were extremely dangerous given the snow and blizzards that afternoon. Spoke to to them the following week to be told they had their phone lines changed that day, emailed them also and have had no reply.”

We apoligise that you experienced issues in contacting us. We have indeed upgraded our telephone system recently and all member we emailed in advance of this and given an alternate number to call in the event of any outage. Rest assured this was a one time event and usual service was resumed after a period of 4 hours. Regards Emergency Assist

“Following my telephone call a rescue vehicle was with me within 30 to 40 mins The problem was a flat battery which was soon rectified I was then advised to drive the car for 30 mins to fully recharge the battery Excellent service would not hesitate to renew my membership in April 2018 Carol Alexander”
