“the actual coop is very well made,however the one area that could be improved is the sliding door channel......it gets topped up with shavings so you cannot shut it,apart from that,well built..........other areas that need addressing are,the walkway into the coop,it drags on the floor as you move it,when you lower the coop/run down it sticks in the ground......longevity is going to be an iss ue without some form of modification to stop this happening.......the run is quite well built,we opted for the extension run as we have five chooks.......the run is listed as 3-5.......but that in our opinion is to little room,unfortunately the extension to the run is not made of "foxproof" wire thereby negating completely the rest of the run...........saying that....if these problems were addressed.....it would be excellent value for money and personally i'd give it five stars if that happened”

“what can I say, I brought this "Egg Box S - 100% Fox Proof Chicken Coop" it came with the house and the run.. Delivery was very fast and came in two boxes. Assembly was extremly easy with good instructions and all fittings (including spares in case you lose some). Quality of the timber is outstanding and everything fits perfectly. I'm not using the run part of it, as all I wanted was the house. This has been modified with extra shelves and lights to house my 3 ferrets. If you're using this for chickens then this small size would only house two chickens. Overall: Fast service, quality product, fantastic value buy with convidence.”

“Prompt delivery. Clear instructions to construct (only a Phillips screwdriver needed). 4 stars because of a crack in one of the many frames but not enough to weaken it. Materials seem good quality. I shall make a post in a forum each year to see how it is coping with English weather. I placed the coop behind the much larger old coop, for protection from the westerly winds. I will dismantle the old coop and make a weather break from some of the materials. The coops is quite light and will probably benefit from being staked down. Nice features include easy cleaning and egg collection. This would be ideal for a small garden with a run attached to the front. Our coop is inside a massive run with 6ft fencing and a movable extension. I don't like the idea of keeping hens in a very restricted area. They naturally want to forage for food and explore different environments. Recommended purchase.”

“The chicken house is lovely and the pieces fitted together really well. The instructions were poor, too small and we have some bits left over we have no idea what to do with! It would have been nice to have written instructions to go with the diagrams.”

“I ordered my chicken house on the 28th of December and expected. 5 - 7 day delivery but it has still not arrived and apparently won't until the end of Jan. Not happy as I have hens that need a home. Further more, I received no comms from eggshell telling me about this - I only found out when chasing my order.”

“Very quick delivery. Took a little while to assemble as some bits back the front. We were impressed with the coup, we weren't expecting too much for the money it cost. We bought it to keep in a shelter for the winter, The run would be a bit flimsy for outside use.”
