“I would have awarded 5 stars but there was a problem with the delivery. The delivery address on Edwardes order confirmation was correct, i.e. ***. On the morning of the delivery I received an email message from the courier, Interparcel Express (IE) saying that the delivery, by ***, would be between 9.00 and 10.00am that morning. I waited in and looked out for the driver but nothing arrived between the scheduled time. Later that morning, I went onto the 'tracker' of the IE website to discover the claim that the parcel had been delivered at 9.15am and signed for. The IE website is very frustrating in that it gives no contact telephone number, or rather, none that I was able to find, and relies purely on a series of drop down options to report a problem, make a request, or general inquiry. This I did by sending an email request for advice. Also, I cannot now recall how I managed to find a telephone number but did so for the local IE Blakedown depot in Milton Keynes from which the parcel had been dispatched dispatched. The person I spoke to was helpful and, I suspect, able to speak to the delivery driver himself who confirmed that he had left it in the meter store outside. Whilst still on the phone, I went outside and investigated to check but it wasn't there. I was asked to try No. *** and there it was. The address on the parcel's delivery label was for No. ***, so between Edwardes and IE someone had changed it from No. ***. Another intriguing aspect is that I don't know who signed for it as the house in question has been sold recently and is currently unoccupied.”

“The item I ordered wasn't in stock, but I was notified quickly and given an expected delivery date. I was offered the chance to cancel my order but was happy to wait. The item arrived at the time given, everybody happy. Great price as well. Next day delivery would've earned the 5th star.”

“There was a delay due to my item being out of stock, I was not informed and had to chase up, the only reason I did not give 5 stars. However, once item was available delivery was arranged and I was kept informed of the delivery date and time via email. Would use this company again.”

“Reasonably straight-forward website to navigate. Goods were in stock and were delivered the following day. Transit/Packing box used for items was satisfactory and secure. I will be pleased to recommend Edwardes Co. Ltd as a very good electrical supplier.”

“Price and product are both good. Site order process even address entry is difficult. Delivery instructions were given and were ignored. The driver putting the item where he decided rather than where I had given clear instructions to leave.”

“Dissapointed by;- Important dimensions for us of Norslo PC52 connector block given as 16 x 18 x 20 mm long were 16 x 20 x 18 long and are very fiddley for assembly ~ALSO enquiry for cylindrical alternatve porcelain / ceramic told not available we have seen sample in past of 5 amp 3 way 16 dia x 23 mm long which was ideal for easy assembly in tube”
