“I ordered Heuga 493 9318 Brass Carpet Tiles. Tiles arrived in boxes labelled "Brass" but the colour is slightly different and the main colour is intermingled with white which is not present in the sample I was sent. There is nothing on the reverse of the tiles to suggest that they were made by Heuga and nothing to indicate that the colour is "Brass". I am not entirely happy- and I do not think the tiles which have been delivered reach the standard of the sample- but could not face the prospect of returning the tiles and waiting for replacementsi. I have been pleased with DCTUK in the past but not this time”

Hi Daphne, I can assure you that you will have received genuine Heuga carpet tiles. Heuga was purchased by a company called Interface in the 1980s and I've been advised by Interface that the tiles do not have Heuga written on the back. You might see the words "Made in NL" which references the Interface factory in The Netherlands where they are made. With regards to the sample and tile not matching - they should be reasonably close but there are always slight batch differences of colour as each time a new batch is made the dye can be slightly different. Of course, if you had contacted us about this we would have asked for a photo of the tile (front and back) and if there had been any problems we would have replaced them without any quibble at all. “The tiles were much better quality than I expected considering the price. They arrived on time, undamaged and exactly as described. Softer than I thought too. Very good service and quality, will be the first place I look in the future for carpet tiles.”

“I was kept up to date whilst I was making my choice but not overly so, which is refreshing. I had a problem paying on line but a quick phone call sorted that out. The delivery was very quick and came when it was due. I liked the fact that the sample pieces of carpet tile could be returned for reuse.”

“Order process was easy and prices were good. Delivery was scheduled quickly after the order however first delivery date was missed (delivery vehicle had accident). There is an issue with the DX delivery company used where the text sent does not show the tracking number so it was not possible to track the delivery once shipped. Packaging was poor and was damaged on arrival so carpet was dirty in places on arrival. I think I was unlucky in this case as carpet had to be delivered 2nd time but there is room for improvement on the packaging and delivery notification.”

“I recently ordered 48 Nouveau Cosy Toes carpet tiles via the website but had a few issues with quality when coming to fit them. Two of the carpet tiles had green fibres running along the edge and several of the carpet tiles were not square but we were very happy with the end result. I reported this problem back to the company and promptly received a refund for six tiles which was re-assuring as I wanted to place an order for more of the same. I proceeded to order a further 120 tiles but when we unpacked the second order we identified several more tiles to be unusable. Two of the carpet tiles had green fluorescent stitching along with a flaw down the centre of each tile making them completely unusable together with five other tiles that had a flaw running across each tile. The seven rejected tiles were collected by dctuk two weeks ago but I am still waiting for a response to my request for a refund.”

“I was sent wrong product - 12mm instead of 9.5mmm - but made do. Still mystified as to why I have 4 sq. metres of product left??!!”
