The towel I ordered was awful quality, I can’t believe it was originally £24, was gutted I had paid £12!I have been chasing an email about getting refund but don’t seem to be getting anywhere: I appreciate it’s a busy time of year but won’t be using the site again. I also ordered personalised stockings. These were nice but took a long time to arrive, which is why I am giving 2 stars.

I made a purchase of a personalised cushion on the 3th November. I received an order confirmation, saying it would take up to 10 days to arrive. it has now been 15 days and I have not heard anything since my order confirmation. Am unable to contact the business or receive anything from them. Very frustrated and unhappy with the service I have received.

Item came incorrect. I received a blanket and I ordered a pet towel and the wording was wrong. I spoke to you at the festive gift show at NEC on Friday and was told a new one is on the way to me .

Item arrived, emailed as 'thought' I had items missing, email ignored. Rang only to be told that purchasing a toasting Mallow advent calendar does not include a 'toasting kit' yet if you look on the actual manufacturers website, they sell it all in one, as do other outlets. Is this something that is bought in as one whole item and then sold separately to make more money!? I knew what I had ordered yet received an email after my phone call with a picture of the item, even the lady on the phone stated she noticed that their website does not state you have to get the toasting kit separately. This is not great! I have replied to the email and I am waiting on another reply from the company. At the moment I would not recommend Custom Gifts despite being given their details upon recommendation and doing research into the calendar elsewhere before being advised to get it off here!

Hi Ellen Thanks for your honest feedback - I am really sorry that you are unhappy with your order. I can only really apologise if you feel you have been misled with this order however there is no mention of burner on the page, nor in the product imagery. Further to this, other retailers are selling the advent calendar with burner as a bundle, however prices for this are around the £20 mark – double what you have paid for said item. The item already on its own is cheaper than you would find anywhere else. For this reason we cannot really be expected to provide an add on item with a product that you have already got a great bargain on. The reason I'm giving poor is the note. book I received was not the one I ordered but it is thought that it is.so.I'm not very happy about it as I'm sure you will understand. I Patrick

I placed the order, which was fine. Unfortunately, the money was debited from my account and I didn’t receive an email to say the item had been dispatched. Still hadn’t received item, so emailed company about the non arrival and they did get back to me very promptly to apologise and put another one in the post. However, as of yet have still not received it.

After ordering a gluten-free hamper I was a amazed at the speed of delivery. Unfortunately I opened it to discover a vegan hamper! I contacted the company through email immediately but recieved no reply over the weekend. I chased it up on the Monday to be told that someone would call me back. They failed to do so. I called back on Tuesday to be told that the correct hamper would be delivered that day. It didn't arrive. I rang again on Wednesday to be told that the company in charge of sending the hamper hadn't been told to send a replacement. I eventually recieved it on the Friday! A week later. On the other hand I did get to keep the vegan hamper so the recepient actually had extra items as the majority of those were also gluten-free. The items in the hamper were of high quality but the customer service will put me off in the future.

Ordered a Celtic football team colours beach towel, the quality was very poor. There was a 2inch run and other blemishes, I did email detailing my displeasure and still have not had a reply. Will not be purchasing anything more from Custom Gifts, overpriced and poor quality.

Ordered two towels. One arrived after a few days, but they other one took longer and did not arrive in time for our holiday. Quality isn’t very good as washed the first one once to take with us and it faded. Would not use again. Delivered very driver opened our gas meter and left the second towel sticking out, fortunately a neighbour took it in as I’m sure it would not have been there on our return. Not great service all round really.

Ordered a DCFC beach towel. There's bits of white showing through the black areas, just generally a poor quality item.

Whilst the service was great from custom gifts, I have to say I was disappointed with the towel. The quality was not what I expected and bits were coming off it. Shame as the concept is nice idea
