Provided very full, helpful service, and a reasonable price, although a little more than we were looking to pay. It was appreciated that Laura was giving a very good discount, and Laura did call back etc when she said she would. Sadly, when I was able to confirm, and ready to make payment, I was informed the price had increased during the day by £60 pp, and the deposit by £50 pp, and I am still not sure why this should be the case, the flight price had not increased, and the cabins we had been quoted for, were still available Andrew was able to reduce the deposit, for which I am grateful, but having asked our travelling party for a deposit, to then to have to return to them to explain there was an increase left a sour taste. It appears that the cruise is still being advertised at a cost that is not available. I received a reply to my review, repeating that the price had increased between telephone calls, so I am not able to say the "issue" had been resolved. On replying to the email, this was returned as undeliverable so although invited to contact the company, I was unable to, other through than through this review which I was invited to edit.

When I eventually managed to speak to Caroline Latham, she went out of her way to find a suitable booking for us (since our first and second choice cruises were fully booked). But it took three phone calls, and a lot of waiting about, to be able to speak to a concierge in the first place.

We have booked 2 cabins for two couples. We tif not get our booking confirmation but the other couple did it took 48 hours to resolve this as the Perron we were dealing with "passed it to his manager" .This was quite a worrying time as we didn't know if our bilking was confirmed. We also asked for all financial information be sent to us as we are paying for the cruise and not our guests. This has still to be rectified.

Staff great but so cross that less than 48 hours cruise price reduced by £30per person so just lost £120-leaves a very bad taste!

Dear Customer Thank you for your review, We are a customer focused company feedback whether good or bad is extremely important to us, as it is only on the receipt of information such as this we can assess and improve the services that we offer. Please can I explain, from time to time cruise lines release many fluid offers to stimulate sales which are due to supply and demand of the product, its nature of course is perishable. There can be occasions where a more attractive offer becomes available than the one booked and also on occasion where the demand is high the price then increases and booking earlier would then be a benefit. We work on a live booking system and are therefore only able to quote the best available fare at that moment in time and as such our advice can really only be for our customers to make a booking when they are happy with what is being booked and the price being charged for such. Unfortunately any changes made by the cruise lines to the prices once you have made your booking are completely beyond our control. Although I am sorry that my response may not be to your satisfaction, I would like to thank you for taking the time to contact us and if I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. Bethany was delightful when we booked. She did get her sums slightly wrong. Heather is a credit to herself and to the Company. Superb Concierge- mature and efficient, sorted problems and issues promptly and efficiently. Someone in Finance did however make a big mistake and got their costings very wrong. Heather is currently resolving that problem First time we have used Cruise 118- so far we are happy and confident with Heather but a bit apprehensive with the company.

maybe the worst thing about booking a cruise with Cruise118 is the intolerable length of time the customer is kept on hold. I have now booked my cruise but was on the verge of giving up after being kept on hold for a total of over an hour on three calls.Perhaps you should consider employing more staff.

We were a little fed up as it was a special occasion and we were put in a cabin opposite the launderette.I must add this was amended but we only noticed the change ourselves when our labels had a different cabin number to our original details from yourselves.However the staff are very helpful and we have booked for next year with two friends,and fixed our cabin numbers.

I was given the wrong price on my second phone call to secure cruise and am still awaiting a phone call that was promised 0930 two days ago to finalise paperwork. Although saying that the person I spoke to on my initial call was very helpful. I shall chase up today. I am writing this now after the trip, after the above dodgy start all paperwork was in place and subsequent calls were helpful and car parking arranged. Cruise went without a hitch.

Very good booking experience with Laura, most impressed with her friendliness and willingness to help, and the ease with the whole booking process However repeated inaccuracies in the following confirmation paperwork and unexpected change in a room number, plus misleading description of original room locations in relation to each other spoiled the initial reaction. A bit of a sloppy approach which created unnecessary anxiety and a poor perception of the company's ability. Since the original review the staff have re-issued the confirmations with the correct information on.

The booking agent Rachel was polite and helpful. However, The cruise line P&O raised the price within one hour of our initial inquiry and us wanting to book the cruise. I was furious and initially declined to proceed with the booking. We have sailed with P&O many times and I find this sort of behaviour unethical and totally unacceptable. Rachel did come back to us a little later and said her manager had agreed they would pay half the cost of the increase. Still not totally happy but we accepted their deal. Unfortunately there now still appears to be a problem with their accounting as the 118 booking confirmation team want to charge us £46.50 when we have already paid the agreed amount in full. This was supposed to have been sorted out over a week ago. Still nothing....

My usual agent had moved to management People were on holidays and courses so the booking was all delayed a bit. However, finally it was all sorted very well by my new agent.

I had a reply to my review, asking me to change it now my problem has been resolved well it hasent I still havent received my £15 back and I think it is out of order.you took my money within 10 minutes yet I have to wait 3 weeks for my overcharge of £15. Please pay it back into my bank today. I will not be using cruise 118 again. I can get a better deal with planetcruise without being overcharged. and have to fight for my money back carol sanders .
