The gin is nice but I was a bit confused by the magazie I got with it sorry. It had nothing about the gin I had received in there, didn't tell you how to make the "perfect serve" with the tonics & syrups etc that came with it and just seemed like some random magazine that had been plucked from the archives. Couldn't even find the perfect serve on google so now have a random syrup which I don't know what to do with it because the box came with 2 different tonics, a ginger beer and a can of juice (as well as the syrup). Like I said though, the gin is nice. Just a shame that I don't have the correct information to go with it.

Good products but not sure if worth the amount of money that the box costs, especially when some items in the box aren't suitable for my dietary restrictions

I have been a gold member of craft Gin club for 2 years I really enjoyed receiving the Gin box every 2 months, trying lots of different Gins, mixers, cocktail recipes, snacks and more. Over the two years of membership in invited quite a few points, just over 4300 points in total so just over £40 worth , I recently found out that I am expecting my first child and therefore couldn't afford to continue with my subscription as I won’t be drinking alcohol and no one else I know drinks Gin, I rang to cancel and was advised to use up my loyalty points as they would be lost if I cancelled then, I agreed and said I would call back when I had used my points. However I quickly realised in order for me to use my points I had to get vouchers that are only available to use if I spend a certain amount so to get and use a £20 voucher in needed to spend £100!! I found this extremely disappointing so for me to actually use my £40 worth of “locality points” I have to spend £160 which to be honest I thought was abit mad. Anyway I cancelled my subscription losing all the points I’ve incurred over the past two years I wasn’t prepared to spend another £80 just to use a £20 voucher.

Hi There, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and firstly, congratulations on your exciting news! We completely understand your decision to pause your Craft Gin Club membership at this time and are sorry to hear that your experience with redeeming your loyalty points wasn’t as smooth as we would have hoped. We offer two types of rewards for our members. The first is money off vouchers, which are ideal for larger shop orders as they give you a discount on something you were already planning to purchase. The second is free product rewards, which work well for smaller orders. With these, you can choose a free item, such as one of our bundles, and only need to add a small purchase like a pack of tonics to your basket to redeem it. For members placing a high-value order, we usually recommend the money off option, but for low value spends the product reward can be a great way to use points without needing to spend a large amount. I’m sorry if this wasn’t explained clearly when you spoke to us, and I regret that it meant you weren’t able to use your points in a way that suited you best. Your comments have been shared with our team so that we can make sure the rewards system is explained more clearly in the future. We’d love to welcome you back when the time is right for you, and we’ll make sure you have all the guidance you need to get the best value from your points. In the meantime, we wish you all the very best for this exciting new chapter. Kind Regards, Sophie Memberships Executive

It's ok as I have been unwell with mobility issues and had surgery on my leg so I have missed out on quite a few discounts. I asked for goodwill gesture but was told no

Been with CGC for more than 5 years and it’s been great. Love the excitement of receiving my box and a different bottle of gin and snacks each time. Unfortunately due to rising costs in living I have reduced to bi monthly as it’s getting a little bit ‘samey’ and the price has gone up as well as lots of other monthly costs so can’t afford it as easily. I have more than 12K in rewards but to be honest it’s rubbish now as you can’t use towards your boxes and have to spend a lot to use so would rather now have the box each month for less and keep your points. Loyalty to long term customers not really recognised now. I am in the process of changing to rum box to mix it up a bit rather than cancel. It was a great delight during Covid as a monthly treat for which I was very grateful

Not too sure, has been okay. But I’ve emailed regarding cancelling and they send out random emails and then don’t follow up or reply so I have about 6 emails and no answer..

Sorry to say that the Christmas box just received is poor. I have been a member for years and it's always a bumper haul. A bag of crisps, small peanuts and a couple of chocolates is a very poor show.

I also setcforcactarer box, not realising I was signing up for subscription. It was OK for a short while. But due to ill health I was advised to give up alcohol. But I've seen all the problems, people are having with truing yo cancel the subscription. I will inform my bank this company don't have my permission to take money from my account. And if it means blocking my card I will. So let's see what happens when I try to cancel this subscription. By tgecwsy I have no complaints about the gin and treats I have received. But I'm taking my GPS medical advice

Whilst trying to cancel and change frequency it altered it to monthly. Immediately I received an email stating an order had been placed - dodgy practices! I’ve written to the company under GDPR asking them to cancel order, subscription and remove all my data. Ignoring this request will cause them to breach GDPR as they have to accept by any form of communication. Also made complaint to credit card company and Advertising Standards Agency. Suggest others consider same. Going under GDPR etc. Update 17/06 - experience considerably improved with good comms from company so re-rated 3. Co responded. Order canx. Believe refunded. Still think 'phone call canx' policy needs to made clearer and less plastic packaging please

This company used to be amazing. Great monthly gin, tonic and snacks boxes. The boxes were delivered by Royal Mail and delivered well. However recently they have started to use EVRi to deliver their boxes, whom are sadly not reliable in any form, so I’ve cancelled. It’s upset me to cancel, but I can’t trust EVRi. CGC have told me this is because RM can’t do large deliveries. I’ve spoken to my own postman whom laughed his head off when I told him what I’d been told. He said that’s rubbish RM deliver large package everyday. The truth is CGC have gone to a cheaper courier, well unfortunately it’s going to cost them a lot of loyal customers, must like myself. I’ve already spoken to others on social media who also feel the same way. So sad, they were such a great company.

Hi Jacqueline, We're so sorry to hear that you've cancelled your membership. To ensure that we're always doing our best we tend to partner with different couriers from time to time to see how they perform. Evri have one of the most successful delivery rates in the UK and this is what caught our eye but we can completely understand that due to human nature, issues can always arise. We're always asking for feedback so we'd love for you to give them a change and share with us your experience, so moving forward so we can improve the service. If you do choose to rejoin the club, we'd be so happy to have you! Kind Regards, Yasmine Customer Service Team Leader

I really enjoyed the club, but with excess gin and the cost of bills, I wanted to cancel my subscription. I, like many these days, am quite busy. Therefore it really irritated me that I needed to call and sit on holding order to cancel my subscription. I hate this sense of deliberate inconvenience in order to keep your cash coming.

Decided to leave because you stopped using Royal Mail, that was the last straw. I found the boxes repetitive in terms of snacks etc, rarely would I choose to purchase any of them and the gins have been disappointing of late. I did like the club but changing the points scheme, the constant emails and promotions of other drinks club has put me off. I'd accumulated over 10000 points but they were practically worthless. The value doesn't seem there and the ethos gone. Too corporate and greedy is how the club feels now.

An expensive way to buy a bottle of gin and snacks that cannot be eaten due to allergies. Would be much better if customers could choose their own extras

Like others I used to love receiving the monthly box but over the last few years feel the overall value for money has declined. In addition the rewards program has almost become irrelivant (I currently have 5000+ points) as you only offer discount for the the online shop now - not able to put them towards a monthly box. I think you should reward your customers better considering the amount of money spent

I used to love receiving my monthly box but I feel like the quality of the extras has gone down yet the price has increased. I've been a customer for over 3 years so I think it would be nice if the rewards program was better, you only offer Money of vouchers in the online shop now as you used to be able to use them off a box . I think you should reward your customers better considering the amount of money spent

I've had membership for years and have nearly 5000 reward points. However this amounts to being able to get £5 off a purchase of minimum £50 spend. Would prefer no minimum spend.

Communication, I find very difficult, as you can only communicate via email? And as I’m well over 70 now, I prefer to talk to people, if possible? Thank you. Tony
