“I paid a deposit for van insurance & thought the quote was the final price. After speaking to who I thought was the insurance company, I’d made a mistake on one of the questions which increased the price considerably, so said I didn’t want to proceed. I was told because they’d spoken with the insurers I had to pay a £75 admin fee I complained and was told they could charge another £50 for misrepresentation even though it was an innocent mistake. Eventually, they charged me £37.50. I still feel aggrieved as I wouldn’t have paid any deposit had I known the price could change. Will not use the site again. It’s put me off using any comparison isites f they all operate the same way”
