Rewards system as usual biased towards the issuer and not the customer. Why only 90 days to claim a reward (so you don't have to issue it if the customer forgets, that's why!). Customer services did offer to pay the reward if I supplied the policy details (didnt give me a timescale to do this. Found the details at renewal but was told as the policy had lapsed so couldn't issue. I will be going back to quidco who just pay cashback into your account without you having to remember to do anything. Wouldn't recommend confused.com and wont be using them again over a £20 lidl voucher.

Somehow the information I entered on the confused.com website did not transfer correctly to the suppliers website and therefore the quote was not accurate and I had to pay an additional £25. I have never had this problem when using alternate comparison websites,therefore I would not recommend.

Insufficient questions to explain the detail of flooding, leading to presumptions of severity and cause. This resulted in only 3 insurance companies offering a policy and not providing cover for flooding. Aviva did not consider my flood experience as flooding as I was able to explain the situation and it did not enter the house and was not from natural cause-sea/river.

The prices displayed on your results page are all calculated and returned by our panel of insurance providers, based on the information you entered on our website. They work out the premium based on claims statistics gathered for other drivers with similar details and some insurers do change their rates frequently. Extremely difficult to contact to clarify queries. Holding on the phone for several hours on a number of occasions and was ‘cut off’. Not called back. A very frustrating experience.
