what is the point of specifying items in detail only to be provided with a list of unsuitable options none of whom offered the cover asked for. clearly the name confused has a touch of irony associated with it

I have always been impressed with Confused.com in the past, but this time it duly found me the cheapest Home Insurance, but it didn’t offer me my Reward for using the service as it had promised. I’m very disappointed that I’ve missed out on either a £20 Shell petrol/Dominoes voucher this time. Can anyone please rectify this and send me my Reward? x.

Very misleading, after following the link to the insurance company I found that many of my preferences had not carried across to their quote leading to huge price increases. Compare the market worked out much easier, more accurate and cheaper.

The insurance quote I received and wanted to take the next day was not accessible . The offer of a gift to the value of £20 was therefore not available

Unfortunately and ironically, the process was highly confusing. I found I was not comparing like with like, eg varying level of personal possessions cover. Some wanted to know details of all laptops and some didn't. Much time wasted on all that. And worst of all was not only the lack of detail provided eg whether the student possessions away from home had to be in university halls of residence or could be in rented student lodgings (some do some don't), but also the provider's lack of knowledge and consistency about their own policy! Hastings Direct simply did not know! So after all that work and confusion I renewed with my old company who knew what they were talking about, and I didn't even get my Lidl plus voucher.

It is easy to pay for an insurance policy but not easy to claim the £20 Lidl voucher as promised. Still waiting for voucher option !

If you want to receive hundreds of cold calls regarding home insurance etc etc etc then DO NOT use this site. They give out your details then your flooded with calls.

It was not very easy to use, and the results were limited, and did not cover what I had put in as my data. e.g. My house has had subsidence, but youe website offered me insurance that didn't include subsidence; not very helpful and misleading.

The click through link didn't work, so I had to contact the supplier direct. And now I do not even have the opportunity to redeem the bonus voucher / freebie which was the primary reason for me to use Confused.com in first place. Big disappointment.
