Got a quote on confused.com when we went to the insurance company concerned they changed the quote by about 20% more than quoted on your website

Pleased with the price obtained for my Aviva house insurance by Confused.com, but disappointed the purchase amount and cashback, done through Topcashback, tracked at 0, This apparently will update to the correct amount of £33, so we will see, I will update any progress

I received several Quotes from GetSafe but was unable to Open the Links to complete my Purchase. I also received several Quotes but were not available to Open as it stated - Sorry technical error or something to that effect.

The prices displayed on your results page are all calculated and returned by our panel of insurance providers, based on the information you entered on our website. They work out the premium based on claims statistics gathered for other drivers with similar details and some insurers do change their rates frequently. The quotes listed in Confused did not match those available from the insurers sites. When one arrived at the insurer site I was informed I would have to resubmit a lot of the information I had entered in Confused because "..it had not transferred properly". When I did enter exactly the same info I was offered a different price. This makes your compare functionally not helpful.

I completed my form and purchased home insurance via confused.com however the option was made available for me to get a reward for my purchase however when I selected my halfords reward and tried to complete this form I was unable to do so and therefore did not receive my reward. The form did not recognise my postcode and therefore I've missed out on claiming. Not happy with this service at all!

Unable to get a sensible or consistent answer from real chat or chatbot. Eventually got a quote of sorts which I accepted and paid for. That quote then got changed 4 times, from being about £1000 less than previous company to slightly more. Now trying to backpedal from new company to the old one. It seems to me that prices change with the time of day and who deals with it. ALL the operators have ready made excuses why their colleagues couldn’t get it right.

I ind it very difficult to compare the different quotes - this is true of all the comparison sites. You need to find a way to standardise the info.

On policy documents quite a few errors. The ADDRESS was incorrect too on both original and amended paperwork. Phoning to S.Africa of course to speak to someone and with accent and echo in background- very difficult. Phoned today to cancel policy --lines down "phone tomorrow". Not a satisfied customer as initially thought.
