Gave me quotes for home insurance for a new build property but then wouldn’t let me proceed as address was not found. Eventually took insurance out after days of trying but then my reward never went through. Sent a message to customer services and 8 days on still no reply.

The insurance offer failed to go through with no accurate error message or reason why. After putting in quite a bit of detail and spending time on this, it was a waste.

When I went to company to buy it didn’t work, had to call then and then they said as confused.com does not record claims, the quote was incorrect and was higher

I tried to complete my building and content insurance and was not able to. They kept on rejecting my cards. I had to contact the insurers and go through again with my details... More wasted time.

I am not happy, I tried to get the £20 offer when buying home insurance i filled all the boxes correctly however the message says something went wrong and I could not see what. I wrote to you on help you said you will be in touch within 4 days and I am still waiting. Jim Sanders TS15 9TN

Entered all the details asked for and got to the quote screen. Then when selecting one and clicking the link to their external website, it says they can't insure my home - why not? They have all the details, why not tell me before then? Why is that insurance provider even in the list if they can't actually insure me? I didn't put in any extra information on their own website, it just took me straight to the reject screen. So the quotes Confused.com gave me were a lie.

If this is the case, your details would have been resubmitted when you returned to show you a list of up to date prices. The time a quote is valid for varies between each of the providers on our panel. Some quotes are only valid at the time of the quote and others are valid up to 30 days depending on which provider you choose. Insurance jolly good. I simply do not recommend anything so it is no reflection on Confused.com. However despite taking on the insurance I did not receive the gifts that YOU promised

I could not access the Privilege website from your site so had to find my own way there. Due to this failure I also missed out on the 2 free gifts on offer. I wonder how many people miss out the same which will save/make you money.

While the offer of a 'free gift' was tempting actually obtaining it has been frustrating and there is a suspicion that Confused.com would prefer that the free gifts remain unclaimed. I also attempted to use Confused.com for my wife's car insurance but gave up because the website declined a security question answer three times, and the declaration about accidents within the last twelve month period is inadequate. I made a no fault accident claim which should not impinge on the level of premium but this information cannot be imparted.

After filling in your forms twice, I tried tried buy insurance from Sheila's Wheels, who then said they couldn't quote but had some people who might be able to. I rang them the next day and spoke to somebody who couldn't access the forms, and after a somewhat heated conversation he hung up on me.

It's a low score because you don't keep your promise. The free gift did not materialise when my husband & I took our car insurances a few months ago and it has not materialised so far when I took home insurance recently. Patricia Dhillon

We have taken out 2 policys through confused and we are confused.Tried to take up the rewards and only got one for Liddle but told we had to down load there App on our phone can not and do not want to do this, we wrote back to you and nothing. Will notuse you again because of this poor service
