The details I entered included my partner & when I chose the best price it did not include my partner. It was only after I'd bought the RAC policy & checked the details that I noticed. If zi hadn't checked then my partner would have been driving uninsured. I had to soend half an hour onvthe phone to RAC to add her & another £40 ... Very poor

The quote and the actual final fee of the company that had best prices was £200 more, no info of how I get any of the free stuff they advertised

I have had funds taken from my account without my permission and now I will be charge by my bank and have no way of replacing those funds. I am a pensioner on a fixed income and just about balance my account. This has caused me a great deal of stress as I cannot afford funds to be taken from my account as I only have a limited amount each week that I can use for extra food etc. Regards Maurice W. Boutin.

Sure it gave me quotes, one of which was my present insurer and a cheaper rate, Sheilas Wheels (who use esure, who were also cheaper). When I clicked to Find out more/Take the offer (including a £20 voucher) neither link worked, asking me to phone a Specialised Insurer. Incredibly frustrating, in the end I spoke to Sheilas Wheels on the phone and renewed. Regards Tony Keaveny 07793257950 tkeaveny@gmail.com

All went reasonably until I came to claim my ‘Reward’ until I discovered that because I live in N.Ireland, it does not apply!!! N.Ireland is part of the UK. Explanation please. This really is very poor and should have been stated at application time.

I could see prices are increased purposefully to give rewards to compensate. I got renewal price cheaper for the first time than the options that confused.com gave

The prices displayed on your results page are all calculated and returned by our panel of insurance providers, based on the information you entered on our website. They work out the premium based on claims statistics gathered for other drivers with similar details and some insurers do change their rates frequently. If you would like to query any of your prices, we would recommend calling the insurer directly and they should be able to explain this to you in more detail. Alicia (Confused.com Representative)

I tried to renew buildings insurance and was provided with 3 alternatives all of which were ‘unable to quote’ so I am totally confused

price quoted on confused is 317 when click through to axa the price changes to 347 or something. very poor experience.

I completed an application for home insurance for a second home. Two of the top three quotes offered for comparison were NOT for a second home policy when I approached the companies.
