Interesting to discover that after using Confused.com I began to receive spam phone calls. Not for the first time either I will not be using them again.

Fraud and deceitful site. Was quoted £134.67 from MBNA. Quote ref HAQ 915403203 - valid until 1st July. For building and contents home insurance - according to email received. Tried to accept that few days later. It is saying quote expired. Tried to contact customer services they said the same thing. Site needs reporting and removing from website for deceiving unwitting persons like myself. THEY DO NOT HONOUR the price quoted. VERY, VERY ANNOYED and UNHAPPY.

Some quotes are only valid at the time of the quote and others are valid up to 30 days depending on which provider you choose. I don't know how confused got the date of my house insurance renewal but it was wrong and I only found out after I bought house insurance. What a mess

Couldn't purchase best quote. Still no response 3days after contacting you for help on best quote not available to purchase. Only one quote appears competitive (and wasn't available to purchase so effectively no competitive quotes) Numerous cheaper quotes later found elsewhere.

I mistakenly told the insurance company I purchased from that I obtained their quote via confused.com, but in fact it was another well known comparison site which provided a quote from the same company which was £135 cheaper than the quote on confused.com.

Quote I was given wasn't accurate, £47.01 on site with £30 "admin fee" when I went to pay. If you're buying through this site look out for the small print

I tried to get new home insurance and was told I couldn’t get insurance or it would be sky high due to an incident of my bag being opened and an item stolen. I never received anything back in compensation with my previous insurance company but now I’m penalised by others!!

The sites I was led to wouldn’t let me buy insurance they said to call them as there was a problem with their site this time. Not really good spending time & effort inputting info for at the end being told to call them.

Didn’t end up renewing as there ‘was a problem’ online. I then tried calling twice but no answer. Therefore, no home insurance :( Poor customer service
