Didnt offer much of a selection within my price range. 99% of quotes were double what I was already paying.

I accepted a quote given by Confused which also said I was entitled to a reward. When I tried to claim the reward Confused said it was not valid even though I had accepted a Confused quote. I do not understand this so will not be using Confused again

Very disappointed with the website as it continues to raise the price of the insurance rather than provide a competitive quote. I did buy from Swinton but not at the prices quoted by Confused.com.

Every quote i looked at would not let you proceed if you didnt agree Auto Rewnewal , in the end i stayed with my original company even though it was more expensive , knowing i would not be conned in the future.I really dont understand todays insurance industry they seem to want to penalise those who dont claim .

I do not understand how these comparison sites keep going. I used Confused for home/buildings ins. Answered all their questions. Decided which quote they sent is best for me, went through the process to pay. Would not accept payment, told me to call the insurer I had chosen as they had questions. Called them. Totalled over two hours and three calls with them. Insurance 'quote' from Confused was approximately £100 short. We had no anomolies. No refusals, or cancellations. Turns out, according to insurers, comparison sites only ask 'basic' questions, then quote on the answers to those. Insurers have many more questions, it is more in depth. Absolute waste of time using comparison sites, as they can only give a 'rough' quote based on the limited questions they are allowed or are set up, to ask. So the quotes they give have a high likelihood that they are not worth the time you spent doing them. As the actual quotes are nothing like them. Don't waste your time. Go direct to the insurer, which is where the comparison site sends you when you have been through their pointless rigmarole.

Couldn't add medical equipment that needed to be insured, phoned insurance to add but wanted ridiculous high amount , so phoned my bank and and got insurance through them and it was cheaper than I was quoted by confused

Prices quoted were higher in general than alternative compare site where I ultimately bought my home insurance through. Also some of the insurers that I had access to on other sites were not offering such beneficial pricing on Confused.

Quoted 170 end quote over 300, way off target, admirals agent was very difficult to underdrand and very slow kept putting me on hold, I qas on the phone over 1 hour, very poor
