after taking 10 minutes to fill out the application they refused to insure my house. they had all my details of my house which were not changed for 7 years and for some unknown reason i was refused insurance. why did confused.com refer this company to me? i have never been refused house insurance

Offered a price for home insurance from Intelligent Insight. When transferred to their site to review information and add some further details the site kept crashing, wasting my time. When I called them, after a long time on hold, I had to repeat the infomration I'd already given twice. They then said it would be £20 more than the quote as I had "added hearing aids". I could see on-screen that I HAD added the hearing aids when using confused.com, so couldn't see whey it should be extra. Refused to honour original price. Very poor all round

i was not allowed to have the special gift £20 as I had one previously last year. They should not advertise you can have. they should stipulate only for first time.

No ability to amend details without starting again. No details of actual cover in summary, just meaningless excess. Couldn’t be bother using waste of time service. Money Supermarket so superior I’m surprised you haven’t gone bankrupt.

Sorry people, Hours of answering questions, only two options that we 100% apart in terms of price, and the cheaper of the two options then said, quite randomly, that 'Due to something (what exactly?) I had answered, they weren't able to accept the quote. And nor were they able to offer a) what I had answered incorrectly(?) or b) to offer an alternate option. And as you had only offered two options, I closed the browser tab. Why do you offer only two options after all the questions you ask of your customers. Complete waste of time. Hope you understand.

Beware of their offer to compensate if they cannot beat your renewal, they will wriggle out of it at all costs, changing the rules to avoid paying. Also they include companies that will not deal online and will only do business via snail mail.
