All the premiums displayed are calculated and provided directly by the insurance companies on our panel. They determine the cost based on statistics with similar details, and their rates can change frequently.
If you'd like to query a specific price, we recommend contacting that insurer directly and they should be able to explain this to you in more detail.

To help figure out why your price has changed, please first check for these common changes:
- Did the payment method change from annual to monthly?
- Did you add or upgrade any optional extras? (e.g. add legal cover etc)
- Did you upgrade the cover level? (e.g. change from ‘Bronze’ to ‘Gold’)

“Well worth comparing prices of different companies on Confused. com.
I'd been with the same company for 6 years, but my loyalty wasn't reflected in their automatic renewal quote.
In their letter to me, it said, "If you're unhappy with the renewal price, give us a ring to discuss it, and we may be able to offer a lower price".
I spoke to them,and they immediately reduced the price by £30.00.
I considered that unacceptable, as they could have given me that in their original renewal quote, which I might have accepted, but Confused. com, found me cheaper quotes from other companies. So by trying to be greedy, they lost my loyalty.
Obviously, loyalty isn't rewarded in this day and age, so it pays to shop around.”
“Best price, but check info supplied from previous year is correct, for example were any claims made in last 12 months? Otherwise your quote price will be incorrect and if any claim is not declared then insurance could be voided”
