“Disgusting that you charge me £10 more than last year, and that I then find a quote online that is nearly £40 cheaper ( with you, and for exactly the same cover). So much for loyalty (look it up in the dictionary)”

“I obtained a favourable quote via confused.com, after spending some time completing the questionnaire. I selected the quote and then had to repeat the data entry exercise on the insurance company's website, which requested exactly the same information. Annoying, and time-wasting. I was then sent a second quote, direct from the insurance company, which was over three times greater than the original quote. Naturally, I declined, but have since received two phone calls from the company All in all, massive waste of my time and also, an invasion of my privacy as I do not know what has happened to my personal information in this duplicate system. Confused.com should guarantee that insurers using the platform stand by quotes that they give. Information should be erased if it is not used for a subsequent policy, and this should be guaranteed.”

“House insurance due for renewal. Received an email with new quotes cheapest was around £238 with an offer of a 'free' gift worth £20. I thought, nice that's good I need road side assistance (the one I was going to choose out of 4 options) Out of curiosity I went to another compare site and found prices around £214, £20 less than Confused.com, interestingly. So, it wasn't a 'free' gift, I was being charged £20 extra on top of the quote, it just advertised as a free gift for me to buy through them. I feel really misled and disappointed as a customer.”

“Money been taken out for my home insurance but I have not received any documents, policy number or any emails from the supplier, Churchill, very poor. Tried phoning but couldn’t get through, will just have to keep trying. Not good service at all!”
