Having spent the time completing all the relevant questions to get a home insurance and content quote, when I clicked through to Sky to buy the product I got a message "Sky Protect - Error - Sorry we are having technical difficulties, Unfortunately, we have not been able to proceed with your order, please try again later". I've tried 3 times since and still can't buy the policy. Annoying!

I was not happy with the process. I took the cover with tesco banking and it did not go through. I came back to the same page and it denied me the insurance. I dont know why.?? Then I went through tesco banking, and it went straight through. The comdused.com website to so long to input all data and then it did not work. What a waste of time. It would have saved me money if it went through. I lost £100 due to confused.com. Very upsetting and time wasting.

No cheaper than my broker despite you saying you could save 180£ your quote for less cover was £10 cheaper but over £40 more expensive than my broker with a 5⭐ company. I also tried to call them to clarify but no answer and also had problems logging in. I wanted to download all Ts and C's but could not see a way. No I have not purchased any new insurance yet as renewal as stated was 4th of Nov. I have now been asked 3 times to purchase as time is running out but this just makes you seem desperate. Not a good service at all and not as good as a broker I can easily speak to

The £20 reward / top cashback has been a pain. Having to find someone to scrap the rubbish Halfords reward that loses £35 top cashback by having. Will use money supermarket or top cashback next time to avoid this snag

The customer services at the first two companies you recommended, homeprotect.co.uk and admiralavayacs@admiralgroup.co.uk, did not wish to answer my queries about their policies offered via email and referred me to usage of the telephone to contact them. I therefore have taken my business to a company which was not recommended by confused.com.

They work out the premium based on claims statistics gathered for others with similar details and some insurers do change their rates frequently. Filled out all my details also my credit card details also confirmed payment then nothing no correspondence so don’t know if I am insured or not no payment was taken but that doesn’t mean it’ll be taken when it’s due for but I’ll be keeping an eye just in case

It is totally unable to communicate with customers who have anything other than tick box inputs. It changed the price massively in under 24 hours despite saying it was valid for 21 days. It absolved itself from this fiasco by putting the responsibility on the insurance companies, which may be the truth, but then if it is, then what is the point of using the site?
