Having completed all the asked data, both accurately and completely, I was aggreived to find that information was not passed on to the relevant insurance companies. This led to misunderstandings and cancellation of chosen ( and paid for ) policies. Time wasting and worrying.

Usually find confused.com to be easy to use and good value. However, I had a home insurance claim in the last 12 months and despite including details of this on the form, none of the policies I attempted to purchase had included this. When I manually added it via the insurers websites, the quotes all went up by at least 50%.

Admiral came back with £2500 (ish) quote. When I tried to confirm it, they put it up to £3600 (ish) with none of my data changing. Very disappointing and a complete waste of my time.

You notified me of a best deal with Ageas and recommended them. I took out a policy with them and 1/2 hour later my wife told me we were already insured with The Policy Expert and for £180 less. I had to cancel with Ageas and am waiting a refund.

TO BE INFORMED THAT A 60% INCREASE TO GOLD COVER AFTER BEING QUOTED £125.88 PREMIUM. AFTER ASKING FOR ALL THE COVER THAT I REQUIRE AND BEING INFORMED THAT MY NEEDS HAD BEEN CATERED FOR.

Did not get a clarifued quote there, had to contact More Than which was difficult as more than a half hour for them to answer the phone. Eventually got a quotation but nó detail provided. Called them again another half hour wait to answer the phone but could not get any commitment to obtain a detailed quote. A total disaster here.

The lowest one from LV started at £247 but when going on their site and just amending a few items it end up at £475. Useless.
