“I was told my house insurance renewal would cost £734, slightly cheaper than the previous years high of £850. On confused.com I got a quote for £275 - with the same company!!! The cover was almost the same and in total to get cover the same as before cost £350. Thanks confused.com!!!”

“only gave one offer and when i went to sign up it wouldn't accept payment. spoke to the company and seems the house i have to insure is too high value. would have been good to know that from the start as a waste of my time filling in the questionnaire”

As we are a comparison website, we don’t calculate the prices you receive and these are all calculated and returned by our panel of insurance providers, based on the information you entered on our website. They work out the premium based on claims statistics gathered for others with similar details and some insurers do change their rates frequently.
