Home insurance quotes received were false. When phoned insurers to take out policy’s they ALL had “add on’s” which brought the quote price up astronomically. Majority were to do with previous claims, even though I had stated them accurately on the Confused.com form. Some problems were to do with the fact we have 1 lodger, even though I stated shared house hold. Confused.com need to include a separate section for lodgers and how many. Total waste of my time!

Legal + General were cheapest quote. Swinton 2nd best. Phoned L+G and spent ages going through proposal etc - right to the end - and was told they couldn't proceed even though I had a quote based on Confused.com completed questionnaire. No reason. Phoned Swinton and spent ages going through proposal. I asked a question ref my listed building which couldn't be answered so was put through to their claims dept for answer. Turned out the claims dept was at Legal and General. Swinton quote obviously used L+G. Total waste of my time. After best part of 2 hours I gave up as not what I want to be doing on holiday in France. Guess what - I stayed with my existing supplier. Won't bother again.

Took ages to complete application and had to keep repeating information. Eventually go to the point that said pay now but was then informed that someone would call me the next day. This was then to try to sell me add ons that I did not need so I ended the call. Complete waste of time.

Went threw all the questions and site and payment details and then it said there was technically problems

the company you suggested home net were very unhelpful and we have used one of your competitors who suggested a company who were cheaper

When directed to the providers site, after completing their questions, their final quote was double what appeared on your results table. So I renewed with my existing insurer.

My information regarding problem trees/subsidence did not communicate through and spent hours wasted on calls with insurers that do not insure subsidence. Complete waste of time.

The requirements do not pass through correctly to the insurer making the quotes incorrect.

I wanted "second home insurance" and completed my requirements and used the link to transfer to the supplier and then paid and it was only after paying that there was a stipulation that IF the policy was used for a second home (as I had wanted) then the policy was void. I have had hours of back and forth with the supplier now trying to get this issue fixed.

I received an e-mail to say my contents insurance was due together with prices. I renewed it but when I went to file the new documents my existing policy still had 5 months to run.

Problems with website, Got the quote and tried to access it and it referred, constantly, back to the web page. I gave up and went somewhere else.

Would not accept my card although there was nothing wrong with it as I contacted my bank and they said no failed transactions for my bank account or card. Very annoying.

The details I entered did not effectively pull through to the quotes and policies and therefore I had to start again. I couldn't trust any of the quote returned as significant details were missing.

i'm a top cashback member was told only due if new quotation so i changed my quotation which made it a new quote yet i didn't get top cashback ?

the cheapest quote required a referral to the insurer who asked two further simple questions which was just an excuse to raise the quoted price substantially. Referred to confused .com but there was no response.
