Seems like a good price at the moment let's see what happens next year FICI qualified Having my doubts now I KEEP ON getting renewal policy reminders although I purchased this insurance policy on the 5th March and paid for it.

I was quoted £106 for home insurance on the 28th December and not wishing to purchase then saved it until 24th January. Visited site on 23rd January to finalise insurance and the price had increased to £123, kept asking for more quotes to see if I could get back to the saved £106 but quotes went up each time to £139. Sent an email asking how to retrieve original quote and eventual reply confirmed I had done all the right things. As insurance was due the next day went to Compare the Market who quoted £106 so bought from them. Annoying as I usually use Confuse.

I received a great price but when I logged in a week later, to take out the insurance, it had gone up in price so I took out the insurance, with the same company as confused.com, through comparethemarket.com.

The website kept crashing so I couldn't pay for my insurance when I wanted to

Didn't carry over all the correct specifics regarding policy requirements so figures advised were misleading as policies would not have given the correct protection. Won't be using again.

Tried to sell you cheap insurance but when you read the small prints they made ‘assumptions’ that differed from the information we provided which is dangerous in the event you need to make a claim. I wouldn’t, use these again.

It's a great idea but despite answering dozens of questions the headline price given by confuse.com turned out to be half what I had to pay when I contacted the insurers directly. It's probably fine if you've got a simple situation but not everybody has.

Relatively easy to use online and offered up a good selection of company options but it then took a very long time to input all the data required to bring up actual quotes. I opted for this comparison site via Topcashback but confused.com is now not registering my transaction so i feel cheated by them. Won't be using them again for this reason.

Happy with the comparative choices offered and the detail of prices but very frustrated with continuing to be hassled / reminded to commit to a policy when I already had done. Left me very confused.com

The website is clearly well written and includes all the necessary questions for a straightforward house insurance quote... until the point where previous claims have been made and then the alogithms don't seem to be able to cope. In our instance, the quote given in the first instance literally doubled so we decided to stay with our current insurer. This wasted an awful lot of time. I feel that if someone has previous claims which are likely to affect quotes, this question should be asked first so that then the consumer is warned that there will need to be a referral back to whichever insurance companies choose to send their estimate. Also there should be a cut off point, so that all the other questions don't need to be gone through, i.e. a curtailed questionnaire, so that some insurers would be omitted from the process, leaving only one or two where the customer can then choose whether to follow up.
