I expect that next year I will be unable to afford the minimum house insurance cost due to the vast increase in renewal premiums

Although easy to get snapshot of price renewals, having added specific items to be insured, when then transfered to the actual insurers website, many of these weren't carried across, so the price quoted on Confused was no longer relevant. In short, I had to call the insurer and negotiate an accurate quote, making the process of using Confused unnecessary.

Gave me a price and reference number clicked on it and went to the company who “unknown reference” had to fill in another form answering exactly the same - much higher price than stated with confusing.com

Difficult to use and final costs requested were much higher than the figure quoted in confused.com. Bought though a insurer’s phone enquiry line as it was helpful to discuss with a person

Once I selected the insurer of my choice my quote was not found on their site and I was required to log into the sites directly and fill in the information all over again. Also on the sites I was not given the amounts that were shown on confused.com....all in all a complete waste of time and energy and false advertising
