The staff are great especial Rebecca Ross but glegg Gifford policy is not so good - my renewal States 4 years n c b - I actual have 10 years n c b - I have had to go to another insurer

Some of the most obstructive staff I have ever come across. After many years of being a Homefleet customer I have left due to the attitude of some of the staff. A Mr McDonald in claims is the specific reason I will not renew my three vehicles with CG, I refuse to deal with a company that employs people so disinterested in my business. His attitude this year was very much in keeping with the person who did my renewal last year. Thank you to Louise who was the only helpful person I found in trying to arrange my renewals this year, she was able to find the claim that Mr McDonald denied existed and correct my NCD from 4 years as I was advised by someone else to 14. A relief to find someone knowledgeable and efficient. If the management would like more information I would be happy to be contacted.

no one to answer phones, very expensive ,once found a good insurer the struggles to get my ncb is unbelievable. very very poor if i could mark no stars i would have!!

What a bunch of tossers! A bank error saw the cancellation of my direct debit. I phoned and told them, "blah,blah,blah, not to worry, call in when you return from holiday, write a new direct debit, policy won't be cancelled, note on your file, "etc, only to be sent texts threateming cancellation of my policy, etc. Does the left hand know what the right hands doing? And no way to contact them because it's Christmas! Great service ... NOT! Why did I waste my time in the first place contacting them??

HAD TO CANCEL MY POLICY TO GET MID UPDATED, MEANING NO CARS ON IT. THEN WHEN I TRIED TO COMPLAIN THEY SAID NOT TAKING ON ANY MORE POLICIES. TRIED TO STITCH ME UP, STRAIGHT TO THE OMBUDSMAN AND FOS, THINKING I NEED THEM, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE A POLICY WITH THEM OR THEIR SISTER COMPANY TRADEX, SPENT A FORTUNE OVER THE YEARS, NOT A SINGLE CLAIM, TAKES THEM 3 MTHS TO EVEN UPDATE MID TO CARS THAT GET SOLD BEFORE THEY SHOW UP AS BEING INSURED. WARNING WARNING WARNING

when my motor trade insurance i send them 4 private no claim bonus they mention in my renewal that i had accident but i didnt had any accident now they took 1 motor trade no claim bonus and 4 private no claim bonus i phoned them so many times they transfiring my calls as no one know what to say but i can say its big scam please peoples be careful from them as am gna take them to court as atleast one person have to take stand if i knew this gna happend at the end i would cancel my policey the day i start so peoples please DONT GET INSURANCE WITH THESE SCAMERS

Sold me a traders policy not fit for purpose then charged me £280 to cancel it. To top it all off, after I cancelled, they then offered had the temerity to offer me the policy I asked for in the first place! Avoid at all costs.

In previous years dealing with them have been OK, but last 2 years customer service has really gone done hill. Staff are indifferent or rude at best, left on hold for 20 mins today, with every renewal have had a admin problem on their side. Really disappointed and after being with them for several years and spending over £20k in premiums, finally decide to look else where for renewal this year.

Can't get in touch via email which I had to do after been kept on hold twice for over 10 mins each time insurance paper work always wrong when it arrives every time insurance renewal due you can't talk to anyone so have to renew as they won't tell me how much no claims I have and horrible staff to talk to every thing seems to be a problem to them when you need to add or remove a vehicle

Another year, another problem. Every renewal has a problem, either private vehicles missed off the insurance schedual or vehicles I dont and have never owned insured on my policy. This year however is the worst and the last year I will continue with them. When I got my renewal the obligatory vehicles missing was there as always, but I also got someone elses renwal addressed to me in a seperate envelope (data protection?), but the big issue I have this year is without notifying me or telling me, motorcycles over 250cc are no longer covered, so my business (motorbike servicing) is currently on hold AND my own motorbikes are not insured. A absolute waste of my time and life, their prices are not even that competetive anymore, let alone the stress and loss of business these guys cause.

Dont Crash at weekends, left us helpless and despondent. Its a subcontracted nightmare. I was told getting couresty car but all i got was hertz trying to sell me a hire. By time reached Saturday lunchtime told phones had failed, but could still email. They said couldn't do anything till Monday. Basically couldn't or wouldn't give me Hertz details. I get impression if this company was on fire no one in office would use their own mobile to call the Police. Likewise if looked out the window and saw someone in distress wouldn't use their own mobile either. Its easy we are out of sight in a hospital with no transport, its sunny so everyone disappears for weekend leaving us in a mess
