This is the most appalling company I’ve ever dealt with. They never respond to emails and they now have not settled the claim in over eight months. Don’t deal with them.

Great communication and calls returned quickly with useful responses. Price and cover are good Phone numbers need updating on website and some emails. 🙁 Excellent help from Melanie and Taylor. Been with them 7 years now enough said!

i am existing customer of cg .Mid databsae never updated itself .have to ring them everytime to confirm . added car on policy and when i sold i tried to remove from policy ,it was not on policy at all. customer service said they didn't receive any request. it happened several times. big issue i am facing now is , they are not adding my new car which is 2016 mercedes insurance group 32 . they says its not standard car. they won't add any car over insurance group 28 , its not mention anywhere in policy about insurance group restriction . . i'm paying £220 a month for trader policy . they are con artist. full of lies ,

In thirty years of business I have never dealt with such an inept, incompetent insurance broker as Clegg Gifford a complete shambles.

AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID - I am only giving one star because it does not let me have the option to put no stars. Please do not go with this company, I am putting this as a warning as the minute you do I can guarantee that you will be on here writing the same as me. If you live in the Channel Islands shop around because our insurance is really good and if you find a low quote all the other companies will beat it. The attitude of these staff members is disgraceful, no one cares about you or even cares a little bit to help you. You are transferred through without any warnings, if you get put through to the wrong department Harry will have a massive go at you because of his fellow staff members mistake. Harry is also now my post man as a letter which he claims was sent out 6 weeks ago got delivered to me. Chris Neil (can be found on facebook) works for Clegg Gifford but now goes under the name European insurance. He also used to work in the shop when it was over here. They will only tell you after 3 days on the phone to them that this is the person that you need to get in touch with. No one told me this until 1 hour before everything closes on a Friday afternoon. THANK YOU This company is just a pure disgrace, you can find much cheaper online or with your local companies. I can only wish someone told me this when I went and got insured by them. Employees of this company are disgraceful and need to be put on courses of how to have simple manners. I will continue to complain about this company and warn every other person of them. Jersey is an incredibly small island and word gets around fast. You are a disgrace. I record all of my phone calls - I will share these on your facebook page and then post the link back here. At the beginning of writing this I got on the phone to Ross Gower - I now am paying insurance £100 cheaper and got my temp insurance disc. Clegg Gifford - Email me, call me. Id love to chat about this (of course don't over do yourself and get back to me in a timely manner someone might have a heart attack!)

Absolutely terrible response from the phone lines. Took absoloutly ages to get though to renew my policy. This company needs to improve their customer support.

I have to say to huge thank you the company as this is my first time having a traders policy due to my lack of knowledge of how it works, if it hadn’t of been for Imogen Gibson I think I’d of probably lost the plot. Apart from health issues I’ve had while setting up the policy, nearly causing me to loose the policy but she explained my health and mental health situation. Thanks to Imogen I now have a policy that I understand sort of. I’m still reading everything as it’s not my quality at all. But I hope that I can carry this policy on moving forward. My initial plans of the policy weren’t going to be of any use to me for my id taken the policy out. But again Imogen has been amazing absolutely above and beyond what I’ve ever experienced from these sort of decisions. By that is I could have easily have lost everything and it would have made no difference to Imogen whether I kept it or not. But after her patients and listening ear. And empathy. I think she should be used for future training purposes for future employees and possibly current ones. I can thank everyone enough who have had any part to play in my policy. But due to my mental health she doesn’t realise that if she hadn’t been able to explain my situation to the right person at the right time. I don’t think the financial loss I’d of received from losing the policy. I would have taken my own life. Because I’ve taken this to benefit my own knowledge on car maintenance to save myself a fortune. Please make sure Imogen gets the recognition she deserves for her customer service and just amazing support. Though out getting it sorted.

Very very disappointed with this Company, been with them for 20+ years, they send a renewal invitation in November last which was horrendous, sought Insurance elsewhere at a quarter of what they quoted. And interestingly enough not had any contact from them. So you are only a number on the top right of the Invitation, loyalty today means absolutely NOTHING

Had no joy with this company after spend ing small fortune on cover settle cliam that was not my fault with out any update or to disscuss with me worst company to deal with if anything goes wrong will complain to the right athourites and make sure that thay to things above board very shady company

Worst claims department I have ever felt with no comunication with one another no emails sent or call backs to update with case still waiting on my work car to fixed they haven't even called the third party to tell them I am going through insurance been stressing over this for 3 weeks and they still have done nothing to calm my stress don't insure with them this will be my last year with them never again they are cheep for a reason
